Abstract

Digital transformation is emerging as an important phenomenon in Information Systems strategic research through the use of digital technologies. Education now has the opportunity to digitize with the adoption of digital learning. There are 3 challenges in education, namely equality and inclusion, quality, and efficiency related to digital skills. In an effort to digitally transform and face these challenges, the Ministry of Education and Culture developed a school digitization program through the belajar.id account. which allows teachers to access Google Suite for Education and Platform Merdeka Mengajar (PMM). It is important to explore teachers' readiness to implement learning as a clue to teachers' interest in teaching technology and impact on their teaching practices. This study aims to analyze the factors that form readiness and the digital competencies that teachers need to have to implement digital learning. This research adopts the Decomposed Theory of Planned Behavior (DTPB) model. The research data was collected through qualitative phenomenology interview process with junior high school teachers and processed with qualitative data analysis software. This research produces a conceptual model of teacher readiness in implementing digital learning so that it can provide an overview of what factors affect teacher readiness and produce recommendations for digital competencies that teachers need to have to implement digital learning.
