Abstract

PT.YTL Jawa Timur merupakan salah satu pembangkit listrik di Indonesia yang berada di Paiton Jawa Timur. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis keandalan (Reliability) pada sistem pulverizer menggunakan metode Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM). Data dari Departemen Engineering menunjukkan beberapa subsistem Pulverizer sering mengalami kerusakan yang dapat menimbulkan kegagalan sistem. Analisis dilakukan dengan mengidentifikasi fungsi dan kegagalan fungsional komponen, menentukan mode kegagalan dan efeknya menggunakan Failure mode, Effect, and Criticality Analysis (FMECA), Tahap RCM Decision Worksheet dilakukan untuk mengetahui bagian mana dari sistem yang perlu dilakukan tindakan perbaikan dan pencegahan berdasarkan kegagalan yang ada, agar kejadian yang sama tidak terulang serta menentukan kegiatan perancang perawatan yang tepat pada setiap komponen. Data yang digunakan mencakup data historis kerusakan dan perbaikan Pulverizer selama 5 tahun. Hasil analisis FMECA menunjukkan bahwa komponen dengan nilai RPN tertinggi adalah Pulv "A" Inerting Steam - Block Valve dengan RPN 240, Pulv "A" Inerting Steam - Ctrl Valve dengan RPN 224. Pulv A - Hot Air Gate memiliki RPN 192, dan Pulv A -Hot Air CTRL Damper memiliki RPN 210. Analisis terhadap 71 mode kegagalan yang teridentifikasi 37 failure mode dicegah dengan scheduled on condition task, 26 failure mode dicegah dengan Scheduled restoration task, 7 failure mode dicegah dengan Scheduled discard task, dan 1 failure mode dicegah dengan redesign. Penelitian ini menghasilkan usulan jadwal pemeliharaan preventif untuk meningkatkan keandalan sistem Pulverizer dan mengurangi risiko kegagalan operasional di PT YTL Jawa Timur.

PT YTL East Java is one of the power plants in Indonesia located in Paiton, East Java. This study aims to analyze the Reliability of the Pulverizer system using the Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) method. Data from the Engineering Department shows that some Pulverizer subsystems often experience damage that can cause system failure. The analysis is carried out by identifying the function and Functional Failure of the component, determining the failure mode and its effect using Failure mode, Effect, and Criticality Analysis (FMECA), then the RCM Decision Worksheet stage to find out which parts of the system need to be taken corrective and preventive action based on existing failures, so that the same event does Not recur and determine the appropriate maintenance design activities for each component. The data used includes historical data of Pulverizer damage and repair for 5 years. The results of FMECA analysis show that the components with the Highest RPN values are Pulv “A” Inerting Steam - Block Valve with RPN 240, Pulv “A” Inerting Steam - Ctrl Valve with RPN 224. Pulv A - Hot Air Gate has an RPN of 192, and Pulv A - Hot Air CTRL Damper has an RPN of 210.
Analysis of 71 failure modes identified 37 failure modes prevented by scheduled on condition task, 26 failure modes prevented by Scheduled restoration task, 7 failure modes prevented by Scheduled discard task, and 1 failure mode prevented by redesign. This research resulted in a proposed preventive maintenance schedule to improve Pulverizer system Reliability and reduce the risk of operational failure at PT YTL East Java.
