Abstract

Proyek pembangunan Convention Hall Kalianda terdiri dari dua bangunan dengan masing-masing memiliki tiga lantai, sehingga diperlukan pelaksanaan keselamatan dan kesehatan kerja yang sesuai. Proyek pembangunan ini dikerjakan oleh PT Rindang Tigasatu Pratama sebagai kontraktor. Praktik keinsinyuran ini memiliki tujuan untuk mengawasi implementasi kesehatan dan keselamatan kerja serta pemakaian alat pelindung diri di lapangan sesuai dengan peraturan yang berlaku. Metode yang digunakan adalah observasi langsung dan pengisian kuesioner oleh pekerja terkait penggunaan alat pelindung diri. Hasil pengamatan menunjukkan rendahnya kedisiplinan pekerja dalam memakai alat pelindung diri, seperti tidak memakai helm (56,82%), rompi keselamatan (77,27%), sepatu boots (31,82%), dan sarung tangan (70,45%). Temuan ini diharapkan dapat menjadi perhatian bagi perusahaan untuk meningkatkan kesadaran dan kedisiplinan pekerja, guna mengurangi potensi kecelakaan di lokasi kerja.

The Convention Hall Kalianda construction project consists of two buildings with each having three floors, so the implementation of appropriate occupational safety and health is required. This construction project was carried out by PT Rindang Tigasatu Pratama as the contractor. This engineering practice aims to supervise the implementation of occupational health and safety and the use of personal protective equipment in the field in accordance with applicable regulations. The method used is direct observation and filling out questionnaires by workers related to the use of personal protective equipment. The observation results showed the low discipline of workers in wearing personal protective equipment, such as not wearing helmets (56.82%), safety vests (77.27%), boots (31.82%), and gloves (70.45%). These findings are expected to be a concern for companies to increase workers' awareness and discipline, in order to reduce the potential for accidents at work sites.
