Abstract
Pesantren Qur’an akhir- akhir ini sudah sangat familiar dijadikan pilihan untuk melanjutkan jenjang akademik seorang siswa. Namun, masih sangat jarang ada pesantren Qur’an yang bangunan serta sistemnya khusus dirancang untuk jenjang mahasiswa. Perancangan ini menggunakan beberapa prinsip sebagai tool untuk merancang yang diadopsi dari metode kerangka kerja yang dipilih untuk merancang, yaitu force-base framework. Perancangan pesantren Qur’an tentunya membutuhkan nilai Islami untuk mencapai tujuan perancangannya. Untuk mencapai hal itu, teori arsitektur Islam mengenai kosmologis hunian arsitektur Islam dengan menerapkan prinsip privacy, modesty, and hospitality dijadikan sebagai force dalam merancang. Metode participatory design dalam arsitektur perilaku ditetapkan sebagai metode pengambilan data pada tahap awal terkait kebutuhan pengguna melalui observasi dan wawancara. Berdasarkan metode pengambilan data yang dipilih, menerapkan pendekatan arsitektur perilaku pada rancangan membantu perancang untuk menentukan pengambilan keputusan dalam perancangan. Pengaplikasikan prinsip desain serta penyelarasan teori arsitektur Islam pada rancangan menjadikan proses merancang semakin terarah dan mempermudah perancang untuk mencapai tujuan rancangan yaitu menghidupkan nilai Islami yang akan diangkat dalam perancangan.

Qur'anic boarding schools have recently become very familiar as an option for continuing a student's academic level. However, it is still very rare to find a Qur'anic boarding school whose buildings and systems are specifically designed for students. This design uses several principles as a tool for design adopted from the framework method chosen for design, namely the force-base framework. The design of the Qur'anic boarding school certainly requires Islamic values to achieve its design goals. To achieve that, the Islamic architecture theory of cosmological Islamic architecture dwelling by applying the principles of privacy, modesty, and hospitality is used as a force in designing. The participatory design method in behavioural architecture was determined as the method of data collection at the initial stage related to user needs through observation and interviews. Based on the selected data collection method, applying the behavioural architecture approach to the design helps the designer to determine decision-making in the design. The application of design principles and the alignment of Islamic architecture theory in the design make the design process more focused and make it easier for the designer to achieve the design goal of bringing Islamic values to life in the design.
