Abstract

In Indonesia, there is a lot of potential for marine tourism. Examples of potential areas are Bunaken National Park, Mentawai Island, West Sumatra, Sailing to Komodo National Park, Raja Ampat, Seribu Islands and many more. Therefore, marine access must be adequate so that in the future it will be easier to travel. Abroad, people use pontoon boats, in Indonesia also need pontoon boats as a means and place for tourism. Pontoon boat tourism is a safe and enjoyable tour on the water, designed from a cylindrical pontoon equipped with a deckhouse and various advantages. Pontoon boat tourism ships in Indonesia must keep up with the times. Therefore, the ship that will be designed has a 3-hull, or trimaran. With routes like the one above, and a maximum load of 6 people including crew and a 150 HP engine. So that in the future tourism in Indonesia can run well. However, the process of designing a ship that has a trimaran hull is a challenge in itself because it is the first time a pontoon boat has appeared in Indonesia. Pontoon ships themselves have been made in Indonesia but have electrical problems, therefore this study will discuss the electricity of this ship itself. How many lights and types of solar panels will be used, this is done to anticipate unwanted things such as falling into the sea and also being stranded due to the absence of lights and other electrical equipment. The final result obtained is the lights and electricity that are suitable for turning on the lights and supplying some non-essential equipment, namely solar panels complete with inverters and batteries so that they can be used at night and also the use of wind turbines. And it was obtained from the calculation of the weight of the ship is 2,746 ton. And the energy requirement for all electrical loads is 2085 Wh, while the battery capacity of 7000 Wh means the remaining 4915 Wh with a total of 7 batteries. So the total energy requirement used is for 5 hours. The point is that stability is reviewed from the imo 179 criteria, fulfilling all. With a minimum GZ of 25 deg, the GZ result from running maxsurf stability > 25 deg.
