Abstract

Many tutoring centers still teach using the Teacher-Centered Learning (TCL) approach, in which the instructor focuses mostly on imparting content while the students play a passive part. With a learning accomplishment rise of 36.16% compared to TCL, which just reaches 17%, studies reveal that the Student-Centered Learning (SCL) approach is more effective. The fundamental ideas of SCL – active involvement, tailored learning, reflection and feedback – can help to improve drive, critical thinking ability, and support of lifelong learning. Still, the use of this approach presents difficulties including class size, student preparadness, and resource availability. Azmi Bimbel Magelang’s interior design seeks to establish a more suitable learning environment supporting the SCL approach. The User-Centered Design (UCD) method is used in the design process to grasp user requirements and create a design depending on interaction and student comfort. The design outcomes show a flexible and inclusive learning environment that supports active student-instructural interaction. The suggested interior design calls for ergonomic furniture choice, flexible spatial layouts, and the usage of design features meant to include students in the learning process. By means of this strategy, the Azmi Bimbel Magelang learning environment is designed to improve learning efficacy, solve SCL implementation issues, and create chances for ongoing innovation in educational space design
