Abstract

Penduduk di Indonesia mencapai ± 270.200.000 orang sesuai data Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) pada sensus penduduk tahun 2020. Kebutuhan pangan di Indonesia semakin meningkat dengan adanya pertumbuhan penduduk di Indonesia, kebutuhan pangan masyarakat Indonesia terdiri dari kebutuhan pangan berupa lauk pauk, nasi, dan sayuran. Masyarakat di Indonesia biasanya mengkonsumsi berbagai sayuran salah satunya adalah sayur kecambah ale. Ale dipasok dari daerah Banyuwangi dan Nusa Tenggara Timur (NTT) di hutan liar, harga beli ale yang dipasok dari kedua wilayah tersebut sebesar Rp. 5.000/kg, ale dalam bentuk kecambah dapat dijual dengan harga (Rp. 6.000 – Rp. 8.000)/kg dan dipasarkan di daerah Surabaya, Sidoarjo, Gresik, Kediri, dan Semarang. Mesin pengupas kulit biji ale kapasitas pengupasan 30 kg dirancancang untuk mengupas biji ale sebesar 30 kg dalam satu kali proses, hasil perencanaan teoritis dihasilkan daya motor penggerak sebesar 5,73 HP dan digunakan motor diesel 8 HP, menggunakan V-grooved belt & pulley dengan Tipe A, material poros menggunakan baja ST 70 dengan diameter minimal 15,44 mm digunakan diameter 40 mm, menggunakan bearing UCP 208, pasak dengan material ST 40 dengan dimensi (p × l × t = 15 mm × 10 mm × 6,667 mm), dan menghasilkan kapasitas 132,453 kg/jam.

The population in Indonesia reaches 270,200,000 people according to data from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) in the 2020 population census. Food needs in Indonesia are increasing with population growth in Indonesia, the food needs of the Indonesian people consist of food needs in the form of side dishes, rice, and vegetables. People in Indonesia usually consume a variety of vegetables, one of which is ale sprouts. Ale is supplied from the Banyuwangi and East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) areas in wild forests, the purchase price of ale supplied from these two areas is Rp. 5,000/kg, ale in the form of sprouts can be sold at a price (Rp. 6,000 – Rp. 8,000)/kg and is marketed in Surabaya, Sidoarjo, Gresik, Kediri, and Semarang areas. Ale seed peeler machine with a capacity of 30 kg is designed to peel 30 kg of ale seeds in one process, the theoretical planning results produce a driving motor power of 5.73 HP and an 8 HP diesel motor is used, using a V-grooved belt & pulley with Type A, the shaft material is ST 70 with a minimum diameter of 15.44 mm, a diameter of 40 mm is used, using UCP 208 bearings, the keys are made from ST 40 material with dimensions (w × l × h = 15 mm × 10 mm × 6,667 mm), and the ale seed peeler’s machine capacity is 132.453 kg/hour.
