Abstract

PT Pupuk Iskandar Muda (PIM) merupakan perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang dibidang perpupukan. Dalam upaya mencapai ketercapaian Ketahanan pangan nasional, maka PT Pupuk Iskandar Muda berencana melakukan pengembangan dan pelebaran usaha. Perubahan demi perubahan sistem kelistrikan dilakukan demi meningkatkan keandalan dan kontinuitas operasi sistem tenaga listrik. Oleh karena itu, direncanakan untuk mengintgerasikan dengan listrik PLN melalui GI Arun 150kV yang dihubungkan ke Air Insulation Substation melalui trafo 37 MVA. Hal ini dilatar belakangi oleh rencana penambahan beban dan penghematan biaya operasi plant. Permasalahan yang dialami oleh PT Pupuk Iskandar Muda menyebabkan diperlukannya anlisa terkait kestabilan sistem. Dalam tugas akhir ini dilakukan simulasi beberapa skenario gangguan generator outage serta gangguan hubung singkat untuk melihat respon sistem dalam mengembalikan kestabilannya. Standar yang digunakan mengacu pada IEEE Std C37.106-1987 mengenai pengaman frekuensi abnormal turbin dengan menggunakan metode pelepasan beban.

PT Pupuk Iskandar Muda (PIM) is a company engaged in the fertilizer sector. In an effort to achieve national food security, PT Pupuk Iskandar Muda plans to develop and expand its business. Changes to the electrical system are made to improve the reliability and continuity of the operation of the electric power system. Therefore, it is planned to integrate with PLN electricity through the GI Arun 150kV which is connected to the Air Insulation Substation through a 37 MVA transformer. This is motivated by the plan to increase the load and save on plant operating costs. The problems experienced by PT Pupuk Iskandar Muda require an analysis related to system stability. In this final project, simulations of several generator outage and short circuit disturbance scenarios are carried out to see the system's response in restoring its stability. The standard used refers to IEEE Std C37.106-1987 concerning abnormal turbine frequency protection using the Load Shedding method.
