Abstract
Laporan ini membahas hasil kegiatan magang industri yang dilaksanakan di PT. Solusi Bangun Indonesia Tbk., Pabrik Tuban, selama periode Januari hingga April 2024. Fokus utama dari kegiatan magang adalah menganalisis dan mempelajari sistem hidrolik pada mesin Vertical Roller Mill (VRM) yang digunakan dalam proses penggilingan akhir (Finish Mill) pada produksi semen. Sistem hidrolik memainkan peran penting dalam memberikan tekanan pada roller untuk proses penggilingan klinker menjadi semen, dengan dukungan komponen-komponen seperti pompa, silinder hidrolik, akumulator, serta berbagai katup kontrol. Metodologi yang digunakan mencakup studi literatur, survei lapangan, diskusi dengan engineer, serta analisis data dari proses maintenance. Hasil dari kegiatan ini menunjukkan pentingnya pemeliharaan sistem hidrolik secara berkala guna mencegah kegagalan operasi yang dapat mempengaruhi kualitas dan efisiensi produksi semen. Laporan ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi praktis bagi perusahaan serta menambah wawasan mahasiswa terhadap penerapan teknologi teknik mesin dalam industri nyata.

This report presents the results of an industrial internship conducted at PT Solusi Bangun Indonesia Tbk., Tuban Plant, from January to April 2024. The internship focused on the analysis and maintenance of the hydraulic system in the Vertical Roller Mill (VRM), which plays a critical role in the final grinding process (Finish Mill) during cement production. The hydraulic system provides the necessary pressure on the rollers to grind clinker into fine cement, supported by components such as pumps, hydraulic cylinders, accumulators, and various control valves. The methodology involved literature review, field surveys, technical discussions with maintenance engineers, and data analysis from maintenance activities. The findings highlight the importance of regular hydraulic system maintenance to prevent operational failures and ensure consistent product quality and production efficiency. This report aims to contribute practical insights for the company and enhance the student’s understanding of real-world applications of mechanical engineering principles in the industrial sector.
