Abstract
Laporan Magang Industri ini membahas pengaruh variasi pembebanan Unit 1 Gas Engine Jenbacher JS620-GS pada Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Mesin Gas (PLTMG) PT Lamong Energi Indonesia terhadap efisiensi biaya operasional. Magang dilaksanakan untuk mengaplikasikan ilmu teknik mesin industri khususnya teknologi rekayasa konversi energi, serta memahami kondisi nyata di dunia industri. Variasi beban yang diamati meliputi pembebanan pada 2 MW, 2,4 MW, dan 2,8 MW. Hasil perhitungan menunjukkan bahwa pembebanan pada 2,4 MW menghasilkan efisiensi termal terbaik sebesar 40,14% serta konsumsi bahan bakar spesifik terendah yaitu 0,1939 kg/W.h, sehingga lebih efisien dibanding beban lainnya. Dari segi biaya, beban 2,4 MW juga memberikan harga konsumsi gas paling ekonomis. Dengan demikian, pembebanan optimal pada unit gas engine tidak hanya meningkatkan efisiensi kinerja mesin tetapi juga menekan biaya operasional. Magang ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi positif bagi perusahaan dan memperkaya wawasan mahasiswa terkait penerapan teknologi pembangkitan listrik berbasis mesin gas di industri kepelabuhanan.

This Industrial Internship Report discusses the effect of loading variations of Unit 1 Gas Engine Jenbacher JS620-GS at PT Lamong Energi Indonesia Gas Engine Power Plant (PLTMG) on operational cost efficiency. The internship is carried out to apply industrial mechanical engineering knowledge, especially energy conversion engineering technology, and understand the real conditions in the industrial world. The load variations observed include loading at 2 MW, 2.4 MW, and 2.8 MW. The calculation results show that loading at 2.4 MW produces the best thermal efficiency of 40.14% and the lowest specific fuel consumption of 0.1939 kg/W.h, making it more efficient than other loads. In terms of cost, the 2.4 MW load also provides the most economical gas consumption price. Thus, optimal loading of the gas engine unit not only improves engine performance efficiency but also reduces operational costs. This internship is expected to make a positive contribution to the company and enrich students' insights regarding the application of gas engine-based electricity generation technology in the port industry.
