Abstract

Penelitian ini berfokus pada analisis pengaruh penggunaan elemen strut member pada struktur dermaga yang direncanakan di Terminal Kendaraan Pelabuhan Patimban. Dua variasi struktur dianalisis, yaitu dermaga dengan tiang vertikal dan dermaga dengan konfigurasi strut member. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk membandingkan kapasitas struktural (capacity ratio) serta untuk mengetahui volume material yang digunakan dari masing-masing dermaga. Pemodelan dilakukan menggunakan SAP2000 dengan mempertimbangkan pembebanan akibat gelombang, angin, arus, gempa, tumbukan, dan tambatan kapal. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa dermaga strut memberikan kapasitas struktur yang lebih baik dalam menahan beban lateral, dengan capacity ratio mendekati 1 dan defleksi lebih kecil. Dari sisi efisiensi material, dermaga strut memerlukan volume total sebesar 342,04 m³, lebih rendah dibandingkan tipe vertikal sebesar 359,97 m³. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan strut tidak hanya memperkuat struktur, tetapi juga mengurangi kebutuhan volume material secara keseluruhan, menjadikannya solusi efisien untuk desain dermaga di lingkungan maritim dengan tekanan lateral tinggi.

This study focuses on analyzing the influence of using strut member elements in the wharf structure planned for the Car Terminal at Patimban Port. Two structural variations were analyzed: a wharf with vertical piles and a wharf with a strut member configuration. The objective of this study is to compare the structural capacity (capacity ratio) and to determine the material volume required for each type of wharf. Structural modeling was conducted using SAP2000, considering loading from waves, wind, currents, earthquakes, ship berthing, and mooring forces. The analysis results show that the strut-type wharf provides better structural capacity in resisting lateral loads, with a capacity ratio approaching 1 and smaller deflection. In terms of material efficiency, the strut-type wharf requires a total volume of 342.04 m³, which is lower than the vertical pile type at 359.97 m³. These findings indicate that the use of struts not only strengthens the structure but also reduces the overall material demand, making it an efficient solution for wharf design in maritime environments with high lateral loading.
