Abstract
Penelitian ini mengimplementasikan sistem deteksi kegagalan pompa hidroponik berbasis Internet of Things (IoT) guna menjaga keberlangsungan irigasi dan kualitas tanaman. Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah permasalahan yang dialami oleh mitra, Emak Farm and Hydroponic, yang sering mengalami kegagalan pompa tanpa diketahui oleh penjaga kebun, sehingga berdampak pada kondisi tanaman. Sistem yang dikembangkan bertujuan untuk mendeteksi kegagalan pompa secara otomatis dan mengirimkan notifikasi melalui aplikasi Telegram. Sistem ini menggunakan mikrokontroler ESP32 yang terhubung ke jaringan Wi-Fi serta dilengkapi dengan teknologi nirkabel guna mengurangi penggunaan kabel. Variabel yang diukur dalam sistem ini adalah tegangan (Vac) dan aliran air (L/min), menggunakan sensor tegangan digital dan sensor flow FS400A. Pengujian sensor tegangan dilakukan dengan memvariasikan tegangan dari 0 hingga 225 Vac menggunakan regulator, dan hasilnya diukur menggunakan AVO meter. Sensor tegangan memiliki output digital, di mana nilai akan menjadi 1 jika tegangan melebihi 53 Vac. Sementara itu, pengujian sensor flow dilakukan dengan membagi pipa menjadi tiga jalur, masing-masing dilengkapi sensor flow dan hand valve, serta divalidasi menggunakan rotameter. Bukaan hand valve divariasikan dari sudut 0° hingga 90°, dan hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa sensor flow memiliki tingkat akurasi tinggi, yaitu sebesar 97,83%, 98,91%, dan 98,08%. Sistem ini juga berhasil mengaktifkan aktuator secara responsif saat tegangan terdeteksi nol, relay menyala dan mengirimkan pesan ke Telegram, begitu pula ketika aliran air di bawah ambang batas, buzzer aktif dan notifikasi dikirimkan ke aplikasi Telegram. Dengan adanya sistem ini, diharapkan Emak Farm and Hydroponic dapat mengurangi risiko tanaman layu akibat kegagalan pompa hidroponik yang tidak terdeteksi secara dini.

This study implements an Internet of Things (IoT)-based hydroponic pump failure detection system to maintain irrigation sustainability and plant quality. The background of this research is the problems experienced by partners, Emak Farm and Hydroponic, which often experience pump failures without the knowledge of the garden keepers, thus having an impact on the condition of the plants. The system developed aims to automatically detect pump failures and send notifications through the Telegram application. The system uses an ESP32 microcontroller connected to a Wi-Fi network and is equipped with wireless technology to reduce cable usage. The variables measured in this system are voltage (Vac) and water flow (L/min), using a digital voltage sensor and an FS400A flow sensor. Voltage sensor testing is performed by varying the voltage from 0 to 225 Vac using a regulator, and the results are measured using an AVO meter. The voltage sensor has a digital output, where the value will be 1 if the voltage exceeds 53 Vac. Meanwhile, the flow sensor test was carried out by dividing the pipeline into three paths, each equipped with a flow sensor and a hand valve, and validated using a rotameter. The opening of the hand valve varies from 0° to 90° angles, and the test results show that the flow sensor has a high accuracy rate, which is 97.83%, 98.91%, and 98.08%. The system also manages to activate the actuator responsively when the voltage is detected to zero, the relay turns on and sends a message to Telegram, as well as when the water flow is below the threshold, the buzzer is active and notifications are sent to the Telegram application. With this system, it is hoped that Emak Farm and Hydroponic can reduce the risk of plant wilting due to hydroponic pump failure that is not detected early.
