Abstract

This study examines the implementation and social and economic impacts of a digital skills training program organized by CV Oofy Foundation on the millennial generation. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, data were obtained through observation, documentation, and in-depth interviews with various parties involved in the training. The results indicate that the training program has both social and economic impacts. Socially, the training increased participants' motivation, self-confidence, and social identity as productive and adaptive digital actors. Furthermore, the program fostered the formation of a digital community that provided social support and strengthened participants' motivation. In terms of digital literacy, the training successfully improved participants' ability to understand the digital ecosystem and use technology ethically and responsibly. Economically, the training successfully increased participants' digital productivity, opened up alternative employment opportunities, and positively impacted income through various digital economy channels such as design services, social media management, and digital marketing. The training model, which focuses on economic independence and post-training mentoring, creates more inclusive and equitable economic access. These findings support the theory that increasing digital literacy and capacity can drive social transformation and economic mobility in a sustainable digital society.
