Abstract
JKT48 merupakan grup musik Indonesia yang masih bertahan hingga kini dan rutin melakukan penampilan tiap minggunya. Selain penampilan musik, JKT48 juga menjual layanan fanmeeting yaitu event dimana para penggemar dapat bertemu secara langsung dengan idola mereka. Penjualan tiket fanmeeting sepenuhnya dilakukan secara online melalui website jkt48.com. Sistem website dengan waiting room yang tidak efektif menjadi hambatan penggemar dalam membeli tiket fanmeeting. Sebagai respons terhadap hambatan ini, penggemar JKT48 melakukan tindakan workarounds atau adaptasi untuk mengatasi kendala yang ada. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi bentuk dan motivasi workarounds yang dilakukan oleh penggemar JKT48 dalam memesan tiket fanmeeting. Fokus utama penelitian ini adalah tindakan adaptasi yang penggemar JKT48 lakukan ketika menghadapi hambatan yang menghambat mereka mendapatkan tiket fanmeeting. Penelitian ini merupakan studi kualitatif yang melibatkan wawancara dan observasi lapangan untuk mengumpulkan data. Hasil wawancara ditranskrip, dikodifikasi, dan dianalisis untuk mengidentifikasi bentuk dan motivasi terjadinya workarounds pada proses pemesanan tiket fanmeeting JKT48. Metode open coding digunakan untuk mengidentifikasi pola utama dalam data yang dikumpulkan. Hasil dari open coding kemudian dianalisis lebih lanjut guna memahami hubungan antara bentuk workarounds dan motivasi yang mendasarinya. Hasil analisis penelitian ini mengidentifikasi enam bentuk utama workarounds: praktik cookies stealing, penggunaan bot, penggunaan tools auto clicker/auto refresh, penggunaan jasa joki, pembelian tiket di calo, dan penggunakan akun/tiket milik teman. Keenam workarounds ini dilatarbelakangi oleh delapan motivasi utama: meyakini joki menemukan jalan pintas, masalah infrastruktur server, ketidakpastian durasi antrean web, takut kehabisan tiket, persaingan mendapatkan tiket yang ketat, tidak mau/tidak punya waktu menunggu, mendapatkan penawaran harga lebih murah, dan kehabisan tiket. Analisis lebih lanjut menunjukkan bahwa ketidakpastian durasi antrian web, takut kehabisan tiket, dan persaingan mendapatkan tiket yang ketat merupakan motivasi utama di balik tindakan workarounds yang dilakukan oleh penggemar JKT48 ketika memesan tiket fanmeeting.

JKT48 is an Indonesian music group that continues to exist and routinely performs weekly. In addition to musical performances, JKT48 also offers fanmeeting services, an event where fans can meet their idols directly. Fanmeeting ticket sales are conducted entirely online through the website jkt48.com. The website system with an ineffective waiting room is an obstacle for fans in purchasing fanmeeting tickets. In response to these obstacles, JKT48 fans perform workarounds or adaptations to overcome existing constraints. This study aims to identify the form and motivation of workarounds performed by JKT48 fans in booking fanmeeting tickets. The primary focus of this research is the adaptive actions JKT48 fans undertake when facing barriers that impede their chances to obtain fanmeeting tickets. This is a qualitative study involving interviews and field observations to collect data. Interview results were transcribed, coded, and analyzed to identify the forms and motivations of workarounds in the JKT48 fanmeeting ticket booking process. Open coding method was used to identify primary patterns in the collected data. The results of open coding were then further analyzed to understand the relationship between workaround forms and their underlying motivations. The analysis of this study identified six main forms of workarounds: cookies stealing practices, use of bots, use of auto clicker/auto refresh tools, use of ticket proxies, purchasing tickets from scalpers, and using friends' accounts/tickets. These six workarounds were motivated by eight main motivations: the belief that ticket proxies could find shortcuts, server infrastructure issues, uncertainty of web queue duration, fear of running out of tickets, fierce competition for tickets, not wanting/not having time to wait, getting cheaper price offers, and running out of tickets. Further analysis showed that web queue duration uncertainty, fear of running out of tickets, and intense competition for tickets were the main motivations behind the workarounds JKT48 fans took when securing fanmeeting tickets.
