Abstract

Event saat ini berkembang menjadi sebagai wadah untuk membangun merek, meningkatkan keterlibatan pelanggan, hingga mendorong perekonomian secara signifikan. Salah satu perusahaan yang bergerak pada bidang event production adalah CV Mitra Duta Selaras. Perusahaan saat ini sedang menghadapi tantangan dalam merumuskan strategi bisnis yang optimal serta penyusunan pengukuran kinerja yang efektif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menyusun kedua aspek tersebut agar dapat digunakan perusahaan untuk meningkatkan daya saing agar dapat selalu bersaing di pasar. Pendekatan yang dapat dilakukan akan melibatkan beberapa metode analisis kondisi, yaitu 7S McKinsey, Value Chain Analysis, PEST, Porter Five Forces, serta SWOT untuk mengevaluasi faktor internal dan eksternal yang mempengaruhi perusahaan. Hasil analisis digunakan dalam Matriks IFE-EFE untuk pembobotan masing-masing Matriks IE guna menentukan posisi dan rekomendasi strategi bagi perusahaan. Formulasi strategi berdasarkna Matriks TOWS yang kemudian dikelompokkan agar disesuaikan dengan rekomendasi strategi dari Matriks IE. Evaluasi strategi terbaik dengan Quantitative Strategic Planning Matrix (QSPM) berdasarkan dari daya tarik relatif. Hasil dari perumusan strategi menunjukkan bahwa rekomendasi strategi yang digunakan adalah ”market penetratrion”. Selain itu, sistem pengukuran kinerja dirancang menggunakan Balance Scorecard (BSC) untuk mengukur kinerja dari empat perspektif, yaitu financial, customer, internal business process, dan learning and growth. Sistem pengukuran kinerja diawali dengan pembuatan sasaran strategis yang berasal dari elaborasi visi, misi, dan alternatif strategi dari perusahaan. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, dihasilkan 8 sasaran strategis yang akan diukur dengan 15 KPI pada keseluruhan dari perspektif yang ada pada balance scorecard. Telah dilakukan pula untuk pembobotan dari KPI tersebut dan KPI yang memiliki bobot global paling besar adalah “Net Profit Margin”. Hasil dari penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan rekomendasi yang strategis dan tepat serta sistem pengukuran kinerja yang komprehensif, sehingga perusahaan dapat meningkatkan daya saing dalam industri event production khususnya CV Mitra Duta Selaras.

Events are currently have evolved into powerful platforms for brand building, enhancing customer engagement, and significantly driving economic growth. One company operating in the event production industry is CV Mitra Duta Selaras. Currently, the company is facing challenges in formulating an optimal business strategy and developing an effective performance measurement system. This study aims to design both aspects to help the company enhance its competitiveness and sustain its position in the market. The approach involves several analytical tools to assess the company’s condition, including McKinsey 7S, Value Chain Analysis, PEST, Porter’s Five Forces, and SWOT, to evaluate internal and external factors affecting the company. The results of these analyses are utilized in the IFE-EFE Matrix to assign weights, which are then used in the IE Matrix to determine the company’s strategic position and recommend appropriate strategies. Strategy formulation is based on the TOWS Matrix, with alternatives grouped according to the strategic recommendations from the IE Matrix. The best strategy is selected using the Quantitative Strategic Planning Matrix (QSPM), based on relative attractiveness scores. The strategic formulation results indicate that the recommended strategy is “market penetration.” Additionally, a performance measurement system is designed using the Balanced Scorecard (BSC) framework to assess performance across four perspectives: financial, customer, internal business process, and learning and growth. The system begins with the development of strategic objectives derived from the company's vision, mission, and formulated strategic alternatives. Based on this, eight strategic objectives were defined and measured through 15 Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) across all BSC perspectives. Weighting was also performed, with “Net Profit Margin” emerging as the KPI with the highest global weight. The outcomes of this final project are expected to provide strategic and targeted recommendations, along with a comprehensive performance measurement system, enabling the company to enhance its competitiveness in the event production industry, particularly for CV Mitra Duta Selaras.
