Abstract

Merek X adalah UMKM lokal di bidang pakaian dan ritel yang berbasis di Surabaya. Sejak masa pandemi COVID-19, merek ini mengalami penurunan omzet secara konsisten, sehingga perlu transisi strategis untuk mempertahankan performansi di tahun berikutnya. Penelitian ini berfokus untuk memformulasikan strategi bisnis berbasis multi-dimensi melalui pendekatan Quantitative Strategic Planning Matrix untuk meningkatkan kompetisi bisnis di pasarnya. Metode penelitian yang digunakan meliputi pengumpulan data primer dan sekunder. Data primer terkait manajemen strategi eksisting dikumpulkan melalui observasi dan wawancara dengan General Manager serta karyawan merek X. Data sekunder terkait manajemen strategi diperoleh dari literatur yang relevan, seperti studi terdahulu terkait implementasi QSPM. Kekuatan terbesar merek X terletak pada harga dan kualitas yang bersaing dengan kompetitor sejenis, sedangkan kelemahan terbesar merek X adalah tidak adanya dokumentasi dan penyusunan standar pekerjaan. Merek X berada di posisi hold and maintain dan memiliki 17 strategi alternatif bertema market penetration sebagai prioritas implementasi sesuai hasil QSPM, serta 7 strategi alternatif bertema product development. Untuk mendapatkan model bisnis yang sesuai dengan strategi terbaru, dihasilkan model bisnis melalui Future Business Model Canvassehingga terdapat gambaran besar dari strategi alternatif baru yang akan diterapkan. Penelitian ini diharapkan memberikan kontribusi berupa rekomendasi strategis yang dapat membantu merek X memperkuat daya saingnya di pasar dan meningkatkan keberlanjutan usahanya di masa depan.

Brand X is a local apparel and retail MSME based in Surabaya. Since the COVID-19 pandemic, the brand has experienced a consistent decline in turnover, requiring a strategic transition to maintain performance in the following year. This research focuses on formulating a multi-dimensional-based business strategy through the Quantitative Strategic Planning Matrix approach to improve business competition in its market. The research method used includes primary and secondary data collection. Primary data related to existing strategy management was collected through observations and interviews with the General Manager and employees of Brand X. Secondary data related to strategic management was obtained from relevant literature, such as previous studies related to QSPM implementation. Brand X's greatest strength lies in price and quality that competes with similar competitors, while Brand X's greatest weakness is the absence of documentation and preparation of work standards. Brand X is in the hold and maintain position and has 17 alternative strategies themed market penetration as implementation priorities according to QSPM results, as well as 7 alternative strategies themed product development. To get a business model that is in accordance with the latest strategy, a business model is generated through the Future Business Model Canvas so that there is a big picture of the new alternative strategy to be implemented. This research is expected to contribute strategic recommendations that can help Brand X strengthen its competitiveness in the market and improve its business sustainability in the future.
