Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi digital di dunia pendidikan membawa kemudahan sekaligus risiko munculnya technostress yang dapat memengaruhi kesadaran keamanan informasi (information security awareness/ISA) pada guru. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis hubungan dan pengaruh technostress pada tiga domain, yaitu pengelolaan kata sandi, penggunaan aplikasi, dan penggunaan email terhadap kesadaran keamanan informasi pada guru SMA Negeri di Kecamatan Sidoarjo. Selain itu, penelitian ini mengidentifikasi dimensi technostress yang paling dominan di masing-masing domain, serta domain ISA yang memiliki tingkat kesadaran paling rendah, dan merumuskan rekomendasi penanganan berbasis temuan empiris. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) pada 90 guru SMA Negeri di Kecamatan Sidoarjo. Model technostress dibangun sebagai konstruk second order yang terdiri dari enam dimensi, yaitu techno overload, techno complexity, techno invasion, techno uncertainty, techno insecurity, dan techno ignorance. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa technostress pada ketiga domain berpengaruh negatif signifikan terhadap kesadaran keamanan informasi, dengan pengaruh paling besar berasal dari technostress penggunaan email. Dimensi techno overload paling dominan pada pengelolaan kata sandi, techno complexity pada penggunaan aplikasi, serta techno invasion pada penggunaan email. Variabel kontrol gender berkontribusi signifikan, yang artinya terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara technostress pada guru pria dan wanita. Pada pengujian model berdasarkan gender guru pria, technostress terkait penggunaan aplikasi berpengaruh negatif signifikan terhadap kesadaran keamanan informasi. Sedangkan untuk guru wanita, technostress terkait penggunaan email dan pengelolaan kata sandi yang berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap kesadaran keamanan informasi. Berdasarkan temuan ini, penelitian ini merekomendasikan solusi praktis berdasarkan dimensi yang dominan pada masing-masing domain technostress berdasarkan gender guru. Penelitian ini diharapkan berkontribusi pada pengembangan literatur technostress di sektor pendidikan serta memberikan manfaat praktis bagi pengelolaan teknologi di lingkungan sekolah.

The development of digital technology in education brings convenience as well as the risk of technostress that can affect information security awareness (ISA) in teachers. This study aims to analyze the relationship and influence of technostress in three domains, namely password management, application use, and email use on information security awareness among public high school teachers in Sidoarjo District. In addition, this study identifies the most dominant dimensions of technostress in each domain, as well as the ISA domain that has the lowest level of awareness, and formulates recommendations for handling based on empirical findings. The study used a quantitative approach with Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) method on 90 public high school teachers in Sidoarjo District. The technostress model is built as a second order construct consisting of six dimensions, namely techno overload, techno complexity, techno invasion, techno uncertainty, techno insecurity, and techno ignorance. The results show that technostress in all three domains has a significant negative effect on information security awareness, with the greatest influence coming from the technostress of using email. The techno overload dimension is most dominant in password management, techno complexity in application use, and techno invasion in email use. The gender control variable contributed significantly, which means that there is a significant difference between technostress in male and female teachers. In testing the model based on male teachers' gender, technostress related to application use has a significant negative effect on information security awareness. As for female teachers, technostress related to email usage and password management has a negative and significant effect on information security awareness. Based on these findings, this study recommends practical solutions based on the dominant dimensions in each technostress domain by teacher gender. This research is expected to contribute to the development of technostress literature in the education sector as well as provide practical benefits for technology management in the school environment.
