Abstract

Sasaran visi Indonesia Emas 2045 terdiri atas 5 poin, dengan poin kelima yang menargetkan intensitas emisi gas rumah kaca menurun menuju emisi nol bersih dengan adanya indikasi terjadinya penurunan intensitas Emisi GRK beserta meningkatnya Indeks Kualitas Lingkungan Hidup. Dalam kegiatan industri keramik ubin, khususnya PT. XYZ melibatkan beberapa proses yang berpotensi menyumbang pencemaran udara, seperti pengolahan raw material, kegiatan pembakaran dengan temperatur yang tinggi, kegiatan perubahan ukuran material, hingga menghasilkan produk jadi. LCA merupakan metode kuantitatif komprehensif untuk menilai dampak lingkungan akibat penggunaan sumber daya dan emisi terhadap lingkungan sepanjang siklus hidup sistem, produk, dan proses, dengan demikian mempertimbangkan keseluruhan rantai nilai. Dengan metode CML-IA Baseline dan mencakup batasan gate-to-gate, yakni keseluruhan proses produksi keramik ubin, maka dampak emisi produksi keramik ubin terhadap lingkunganakan diketahui sehingga dapat memunculkan alternatif perbaikan bagi Perusahaan. Dampak lingkungan yang ditimbulkan dari proses produksi di PT. XYZ berdasarkan Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) pada PT XYZ, yaitu nilai Abiotic Depletion (Fossil) sebesar 1,8 MJ/m3, Global Warming Potential (GWP100a) sebesar 0,25 kg CO₂-eq, dan Human Toxicity Potential (HTP) sebesar 3,9 kg 1,4-DCB-eq, Photochemical Oxidation sebesar 2 x 10-7 kg C₂H₄-eq, Acidification Potential (AP) sebesar 2 x 10-7 kg SO₂-eq, Eutrophication Potential (EP) sebesar 1,3 x 10-6 kg PO₄-eq dengan hotspot utama pada unit Spray Dryer. Alternatif program lingkungan yang direkomendasikan, yakni implementasi Microwave Drying Technology, Hot Air Recycle dan Energy-Saving Action.

The target of the Golden Indonesia 2045 vision consists of 5 points, with the fifth point targeting the intensity of greenhouse gas emissions to decrease towards net zero emissions with indications of a decrease in the intensity of GHG emissions along with an increase in the Environmental Quality Index. In the ceramic tile industry activities, especially PT. XYZ involves several processes that have the potential to contribute to air pollution, such as processing raw material, high temperature combustion activities, material size change activities, to produce finished products. LCA is a comprehensive quantitative method for assessing the environmental impact of resource use and emissions on the environment throughout the life cycle of systems, products and processes, thereby considering the entire value chain. With the CML-IA Baseline method and includes limitations gate-to-gate, namely the entire ceramic tile production process, then the impact of ceramic tile production emissions on the environment will be known so that alternative improvements can be created for the Company. Environmental impacts arising from the production process at PT. XYZ based Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) on PT XYZ, i.e. value Abiotic Depletion (Fossil) of 1,7852 MJ/m3, Global Warming Potential (GWP100a) of 0,25 kg CO₂-eq, and Human Toxicity Potential (HTP) of 3,89 kg 1,4-DCB-eq, Photochemical Oxidation of 2 x 10-7 kg C₂H₄-eq, Acidification Potential (AP) of 2 x 10-7 kg SO₂-eq, Eutrophication Potential (EP) of 1,3 x 10-6 kg PO₄-eq with main hotspot on the unit Spray Dryer. The recommended environmental program alternative is implementation Microwave Drying Technology, Hot Air Recycle, and Energy-Saving Action.
