Abstract

The skincare industry in Indonesia is experiencing rapid growth; however, online product purchasing still encounters significant challenges, such as a lack of trust in product quality, insufficient service personalization, and restricted access to online consultations. This research aims to design an integrated digital platform to enhance user experience in online skincare purchasing by incorporating essential features such as teleconsultation services, Artificial Intelligence (AI)-driven product recommendations, skin journey tracking, and robust data privacy protection. This study adopts a combined approach of Design Thinking and Lean Startup. Design Thinking is employed through the stages of Empathize, Define, and Ideate to thoroughly comprehend user needs and develop human-centered solutions. In parallel, Lean Startup is utilized to iteratively create a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) through the Build-Measure-Learn cycle. Data collection involves in-depth interviews, direct observations, user satisfaction surveys, and analytical methods such as Net Promoter Score (NPS) and PROMETHEE to prioritize platform features effectively. The research aspires to deliver an MVP, functioning as the initial prototype of the digital platform, which will be validated through iterative testing and refinement. The prototype will be continually enhanced based on user feedback to align closely with market needs and preferences. Furthermore, this study contributes practically to digital innovation within the skincare industry and supports the digital transformation of Naba Aesthetic Clinic by offering a more tailored, secure, and efficient technology-enabled service.
