Abstract

Infrastructure development and building construction are among the main pillars of economic growth and public welfare. The Indonesian government is currently intensifying infrastructure development, including toll roads, highways, and airports. This has driven a rising demand for raw excavation materials. Pasuruan Regency is a region with natural potential in the form of andesite and lava rocks, particularly in the Kejayan area and its surroundings. To obtain this information, geoelectrical measurements were carried out using the Vertical Electrical Sounding (VES) method with the Schlumberger configuration. This research was specifically conducted in the IUP X area, Kejayan, Pasuruan Regency, with a total of 10 measurement points. The resulting data were processed using IPI2WIN and PROGRESS V 3.0 software for one-dimensional (1D) interpretation, and Rockworks software for two-dimensional (2D) and three-dimensional (3D) interpretation. Based on the analysis of the rock layer structure at the research location, the dominant rocks found are lava, breccia, brecciated tuff, tuff, and soil. The lithological identification was obtained from geoelectrical resistivity data correlated with geological maps and local geological conditions. The interpretation results show that soil has a resistivity value of 0–10 Ωm, tuff 10–100 Ωm, brecciated tuff 100–200 Ωm, breccia >200 Ωm, and lava <2000 Ωm. The potential volume of extractable material identified at depths between 165–75 meters from the surface totals 4,915,600 cubic meters. The volume distribution consists of lava at 2,411,200 m³ (49%), tuff at 1,163,200 m³ (24%), brecciated tuff at 500,400 m³ (10%), breccia at 834,400 m³ (17%), and soil at 6,400 m³ (0.2%).
