Abstract
Temuan ini memberikan rekomendasi praktis bagi sekolah dan pemerintah untuk memprioritaskan infrastruktur TIK dalam mengurangi kesenjangan digital.===================================================================================================================================The rapid development of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) has had a significant impact on various sectors, including education. ICT has the potential to enhance the quality of teaching and learning; however, there are many gaps between urban and rural schools, especially regarding ICT infrastructure readiness. This study aims to identify the factors of ICT infrastructure readiness in rural schools, with a case study at SMK Raden Umar Said Kudus. The method used is Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA) to explore the latent structure of 14 ICT infrastructure indicators, which were then refined to 12 valid indicators. Data was collected through a questionnaire distributed to 69 teacher and staff respondents and analyzed using validity and reliability tests, as well as factor analysis with Principal Component Analysis (PCA) extraction and Varimax rotation. The results showed three main factors: ICT Software Infrastructure with a contribution of 49.2%, covering e-learning applications, e-administration, and multimedia; ICT Hardware Infrastructure with 13.5%, including hardware such as computers, servers, and networks; and ICT Infrastructure Support with a contribution of 8.79%, such as electricity, bandwidth, and internet connectivity. These three factors cumulatively explain 71.6% of the data variance. Independent samples t-tests further indicate that support infrastructure is the most significant factor, followed by hardware and software. These findings provide practical recommendations for schools and the government to prioritize ICT infrastructure to reduce the digital divide.
