Abstract

A stable electrical system is a vital component of company operations, including at PT Adidaya Abadi Sentosa. The company is currently facing challenges related to high electricity demand and frequent power trips, which disrupt operations and damage equipment. The installation of a hybrid Solar Power Plant (PLTS) is proposed as a solution to supplement the power supply while improving overall efficiency and reliability of the electrical system. This study designs a hybrid PV system tailored to the company's load characteristics. The research stages include site observation and load profiling, system planning using PVsyst software, component selection based on technical efficiency, investment cost calculation, system assembly, testing, and feasibility analysis. The designed 10 kWp hybrid PV system is capable of producing 16,999 kWh annually, with a performance ratio of 77.2% and an optimal technical configuration matching the inverter capacity and panel characteristics. The economic analysis yields a Net Present Value (NPV) of IDR 308,323,108, a Profitability Index (PI) of 3.13, and a Discounted Payback Period (DPP) of 6.86 years. Additionally, the system contributes to electricity cost savings of up to 30.5%, along with enhanced energy efficiency and supply reliability. Therefore, the system is considered technically and economically feasible to be implemented as a sustainable energy solution for the company's building operations.
