Abstract

Konstelasi satelit Starlink menyediakan layanan internet global berlatensi rendah melalui teknologi Laser Inter-Satellite Links (LISLs).

The Starlink satellite constellation provides global internet services with low latency through the use of Laser Inter-Satellite Links (LISLs). This study applies Dijkstra’s algorithm to optimize inter-satellite data routing with the aim of reducing latency and improving communication performance. The algorithm is used to determine the shortest path between two ground users in Indonesia, connected via LISLs, by considering the distance and position of satellites. Simulation results show that although the Dijkstra-based path involves more hops than the direct link, it yields better performance in terms of Signal-to-Noise Ratio (SNR), Bit Error Rate (BER), and channel capacity. This approach proves effective in delivering stable, low-latency connections and is well-suited for implementing adaptive routing methods in Low Earth Orbit (LEO) satellite networks.
