Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas pengendalian tekanan pada sistem penyimpanan gas CO₂ fase gas menggunakan sistem kontrol on/off. Gas CO₂ dipindahkan antar tabung menggunakan pompa vakum sebagai aktuator, sementara pressure transmitter digunakan untuk mengukur tekanan dan mengirimkan sinyal ke kontroler. Tujuan utama sistem adalah menjaga tekanan agar tetap stabil sesuai set point pada masing – masing tabung. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa tabung reactor paling stabil pada saat set point 0,6 bar dengan maximum overshoot 0,66 bar (10%) dan error steady state 0,05 bar (4,56%). Sedangkan tabung waste menunjukkan paling stabil pada saat set point 1,5 bar dengan maximum overshoot 1,72 bar (14,67%) dan error steady state sebesar 0,002 bar (0,2%). Masing – masing set point menghasilkan fluktuasi moderat yang menunjukkan error steady state tidak melebihi ±5%. Fluktuasi ini disebabkan oleh beberapa faktor seperti kebocoran gas, akurasi sensor yang belum optimal, serta pengaruh aliran gas terhadap posisi sensor.

This study discusses pressure control in a gas-phase CO₂ storage system using an on/off control method. CO₂ gas is transferred between tanks using a vacuum pump as an actuator, while a pressure transmitter is used to measure pressure and send signals to the controller. The main objective of the system is to maintain stable pressure according to the set point for each cylinder. Experimental results show that the reactor tank achieved the most stable condition at a set point of 0.6 bar, with a maximum overshoot of 0.66 bar (10%) and a steady-state error of 0.05 bar (4.56%). Meanwhile, the waste tank showed optimal stability at a set point of 1.5 bar, with a maximum overshoot of 1.72 bar (14.67%) and a steady-state error of 0.002 bar (0.2%). Each set points exhibited moderate fluctuations, with steady-state errors remaining within ±5%. These fluctuations are attributed to several factors, including gas leakage, suboptimal sensor accuracy, and the effect of gas flow on sensor placement.
