Abstract
eralihan ke sumber energi terbarukan sangat penting untuk mengatasi perubahan iklim dan memastikan energi berkelanjutan bagi generasi mendatang. Penelitian ini menyelidiki kelayakan penerapan sistem tenaga surya Fotovoltaik (PV) di Rumah Sakit Pandan Arang Boyolali untuk meningkatkan efisiensi energi dan mengurangi ketergantungan pada sumber energi tradisional. Studi ini mengevaluasi kelayakan teknis, ekonomi, dan lingkungan dari instalasi PV yang diusulkan. Kelayakan teknis dinilai melalui analisis data iradiasi matahari khusus untuk Boyolali, Indonesia, beserta pertimbangan untuk penempatan panel yang optimal dan sudut kemiringan di atap rumah sakit. Perangkat lunak simulasi, seperti Helioscope, digunakan untuk memperkirakan potensi keluaran energi dan kinerja sistem. Kelayakan ekonomi dianalisis dengan menghitung biaya investasi awal, penghematan operasional, dan periode pengembalian modal. Keunggulan lingkungan dievaluasi dengan memperkirakan pengurangan emisi karbon dan dampak ekologis lainnya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem PV yang diusulkan dapat secara signifikan mengurangi konsumsi energi rumah sakit, memberikan penghematan biaya dan manfaat lingkungan yang signifikan. Studi ini diakhiri dengan rekomendasi implementasi, yang menekankan pentingnya energi terbarukan di fasilitas pelayanan kesehatan. Penelitian ini berkontribusi pada bidang teknik elektro yang lebih luas dengan menunjukkan penerapan praktis sistem energi surya dalam konteks kelembagaan, yang membuka jalan bagi proyek serupa di wilayah tersebut

The shift towards renewable energy sources is crucial for addressing climate change and ensuring sustainable energy for future generations. This research investigates the viability of implementing a Photovoltaic (PV) solar power system at Rumah Sakit Pandan Arang Boyolali to improve its energy efficiency and decrease dependence on traditional energy sources. The study evaluates the technical, economic, and environmental feasibility of the proposed PV installation. Technical feasibility is assessed through an analysis of solar irradiance data specific to Boyolali, Indonesia, along with considerations for optimal panel positioning and tilt angle on the hospital’s rooftop. Simulation software, such as Helioscope, is utilized to estimate potential energy output and system performance. Economic feasibility is analyzed by calculating initial investment costs, operational savings, and the payback period. Environmental advantages are evaluated by estimating reductions in carbon emissions and other ecological impacts. The results suggest that the proposed PV system can significantly reduce the hospital’s energy consumption, providing considerable cost savings and environmental benefits. The study concludes with implementation recommendations, emphasizing the significance of renewable energy in healthcare facilities. This research contributes to the wider field of electrical engineering by showcasing the practical application of solar energy systems in institutional contexts, paving the way for similar projects in the region.
