Abstract

Kesadaran masyarakat Indonesia akan pentingnya Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini (PAUD) terus meningkat. Masyarakat Indonesia semakin memahami bahwa pendidikan anak usia dini merupakan pondasi penting dalam mendukung perkembangan anak serta mempersiapkan mereka di masa yang akan datang. Salah satu bentuk kemajuan kurikulum PAUD di Indonesia yaitu penerapan integrated learning atau pembelajaran terintegrasi. Kurikulum ini memungkinkan anak untuk mempelajari berbagai konsep secara bersamaan dalam satu pokok pembahasan. Shining Stars Kindergarten di Bintaro adalah salah satu fasilitas pendidikan yang menerapkan kurikulum integrated learning. Untuk mendukung pembelajaran integrated learning dibutuhkan pendekatan desain yang fleksibel salah satunya adalah konsep playful modular space. Melalui pendekatan metode design thinking yang berfokus pada pengguna, perancangan desain interior Shining Stars Kindergarten mengimplementasi konsep playful modular space yang mendukung pembelajaran terintegrasi. Konsep ini diterapkan melalui penggunaan perabot modular yang dapat dengan mudah disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan kegiatan pembelajaran, seperti meja trapesium, rak susun serbaguna, dan panel partisi yang juga berfungsi sebagai media interaktif. Dengan memperhatikan kebutuhan desain interior anak dengan menggunakan warna-warna netral, material ramah anak, serta pencahayaan alami yang dapat memberikan dampak positif yang dapat merangsang kreativitas dan mendukung perkembangan anak. Dengan metode perancangan tersebut menghasilkan desain visual, tata letak ruang, serta gambar perspektif. Perancangan desain interior ini diharapkan dapat menjadi referensi untuk menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang dapat memberikan dampak positif bagi kemajuan desain interior PAUD di Indonesia.

The awareness of Indonesian society regarding the importance of Early Childhood Education (PAUD) continues to increase. People in Indonesia are becoming more aware that early childhood education is a crucial foundation in supporting children's development and preparing them for the future. One of the advancements in the PAUD curriculum in Indonesia is the implementation of integrated learning. This curriculum allows children to learn various concepts simultaneously within a single topic. Shining Stars Kindergarten in Bintaro is one of the educational facilities that applies the integrated learning curriculum. To support flexible integrated learning, one of the design approaches that can enhance interior flexibility is the concept of playful modular space. Through a user-centered design thinking approach, the interior design of Shining Stars Kindergarten implements the playful modular space concept to support integrated learning. This concept is applied through the use of modular furniture that can be easily adapted to various learning activities, such as trapezoidal tables, multifunctional storage racks, and partition panels that also serve as interactive media. The design considers the specific needs of young children by incorporating neutral colors, child-friendly materials, and natural lighting to stimulate creativity and support child development. This design process resulted in visual concepts, spatial layout plans, and perspective drawings. The interior design is expected to serve as a reference for creating learning environments that contribute positively to the advancement of early childhood education interior design in Indonesia.
