Abstract
Perkembangan urbanisasi dan peningkatan aktivitas ekonomi di koridor Jakarta–Bandung mendorong kebutuhan akan mobilitas yang lebih efisien, sehingga hadirlah kereta cepat Whoosh sebagai proyek strategis nasional berdasarkan Peraturan Presiden Nomor 93 Tahun 2021. Namun, PT KCIC melaporkan bahwa tingkat okupansi kereta ini baru mencapai 50–60% dari target 30.000 penumpang per hari, dengan rata-rata sekitar 16.000 penumpang pada hari kerja. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi travel behavior pengguna kereta cepat Whoosh pada rute Jakarta-Bandung, yang dapat dijadikan pertimbangan dalam merumuskan rencana pengembangan moda transportasi ini. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif dengan menyebarkan kuesioner secara online kepada 175 responden pengguna kereta cepat Whoosh. Kuesioner berisi 25 pertanyaan yang mencakup karakteristik sosioekonomi, lingkungan binaan, infrastruktur, sosial, dan sikap (attitude). Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) untuk memvalidasi dan mengkonfirmasi variabel-variabel yang mempengaruhi travel behavior pengguna kereta cepat Whoosh. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat 15 variabel yang berpengaruh terhadap travel behavior pengguna kereta cepat Whoosh. Faktor yang berpengaruh signifikan pada indikator sosioekonomi adalah pendapatan (loading factor 0,685). Pada indikator lingkungan binaan, design (loading factor 0,693), sedangkan pada infrastruktur, jarak tempuh menjadi faktor yang berpengaruh signifikan (loading factor 0,794). Pada indikator sosial, descriptive norm memiliki pengaruh yang tinggi (loading factor 0,632), dan pada indikator sikap (personal attitude), pro-environmental attitude menunjukkan pengaruh signifikan (loading factor 0,622).

The development of urbanization and the increase in economic activities in the Jakarta–Bandung corridor have driven the need for more efficient mobility, leading to the introduction of the Whoosh high-speed rail as a national strategic project under Presidential Regulation Number 93 of 2021. However, PT KCIC reported that the occupancy rate of the Whoosh rail has only reached 50–60% of the target of 30,000 passengers per day, with an average of around 16,000 passengers on weekdays. This study aims to identify the factors influencing the travel behavior of users of the Whoosh high-speed rail on the Jakarta–Bandung route, which can serve as a consideration in formulating plans for the development of this transportation mode. This research uses a descriptive quantitative approach by distributing an online questionnaire to 175 respondents who are users of the Whoosh High-Speed Train. The questionnaire consists of 25 questions covering socio-economic characteristics, the built environment, infrastructure, social factors, and attitudes. The analysis method used is Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) to validate and confirm the variables affecting travel behavior. The results of the study indicate that 15 variables influence the travel behavior of users. The most significant factor in the socio-economic indicator is income (loading factor 0.685). For the built environment indicator, design is the most influential factor (loading factor 0.693), while in the infrastructure indicator, travel distance is the dominant factor (loading factor 0.794). In the social indicator, descriptive norm has the highest influence (loading factor 0.632), and in the personal attitude indicator, pro-environmental attitude shows a significant influence (loading factor 0.622).
