Abstract
Pengelolaan aset TI di perusahaan besar seperti PT. Pertamina Gas menghadirkan tantangan yang signifikan. Metode konvensional untuk mengidentifikasi dan mengambil informasi tentang aset fisik seringkali memakan waktu, bergantung pada entri data manual, dan rentan terhadap kesalahan manusia, yang mengakibatkan inefisiensi dan ketidakakuratan data. Untuk mengatasi tantangan ini, penelitian ini merinci perancangan dan pengembangan Sistem Manajemen Inventaris berbasis web yang dilengkapi mekanisme baru. Sistem ini memungkinkan pengguna menggunakan kamera ponsel pintar standar dan peramban web untuk memindai kode QR yang terpasang secara fisik pada aset. Implementasi ini menghasilkan prototipe fungsional di mana, setelah memindai kode QR yang berisi ID aset unik, sistem memulai panggilan API ke backend Laravel terpusat. Backend ini mengambil dan menyajikan informasi aset terperinci—termasuk spesifikasi teknis, pengguna yang ditugaskan, lokasi, dan status kontrak—yang kemudian ditampilkan secara instan kepada pengguna di layar perangkat mereka. Sistem inti ini juga mencakup dasbor manajemen yang komprehensif dan alur kerja persetujuan multi-langkah untuk memastikan integritas data. Studi ini menyimpulkan bahwa integrasi sistem pencarian informasi visual berbasis kode QR memberikan solusi yang sangat efisien, akurat, dan mudah diakses untuk memodernisasi proses manajemen inventaris di lingkungan perusahaan.

The management of IT assets in large corporations like PT. Pertamina Gas presents significant challenges. Conventional methods for identifying and retrieving information about physical assets are often time-consuming, rely on manual data entry, and are prone to human error, resulting in inefficiencies and data inaccuracies. To address these challenges, this research details the design and development of a web-based Inventory Management System featuring a novel mechanism. This system allows users to use a standard smartphone camera and web browser to scan QR codes that are physically affixed to assets. The implementation resulted in a functional prototype where, upon scanning a QR code containing a unique asset ID, the system initiates an API call to a centralized Laravel backend. This backend retrieves and serves detailed asset information—including technical specifications, assigned user, location, and contract status—which is then displayed instantly to the user on their device's screen. The core system also includes a comprehensive management dashboard and a multi-step approval workflow to ensure data integrity. This study concludes that the integration of a QR-code-based visual information retrieval system provides a highly efficient, accurate, and accessible solution for modernizing inventory management processes in a corporate environment.
