Abstract

The project at the University of Lampung Hospital is characterized by high complexity, involving various aspects of construction management, including planning, implementation, control, and supervision. The application of professional values, adherence to ethical codes, and the implementation of Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) principles are critical to ensuring the smooth operation and sustainability of the project. This report focuses on the identification of field issues, analyzed from both current and future perspectives, as well as monitoring the construction process, evaluating it through the lens of ethical codes, professionalism, and HSE engineering principles. Data collected through selfassessment tables, project management evaluation tables, and solution evaluation tables, the latter determined through a SWOT analysis. Overall project assessments reveal fluctuations in scores between 3.5 and 4, with a significant increase during weeks four through eight, reaching a stable score of 4 by week 12. The absence of an Emergency Drop-Off Canopy (EDC) at the emergency department (ED) of the University of Lampung Hospital could significantly impact the comfort, safety, and efficiency of medical services, particularly under extreme weather conditions. Therefore, the construction of the EDC at the ED is a critical priority, supported by functional readiness and alignment with patient safety standards. Self assessment results show a improvement in the HSE principles, professionalism, and ethical codes, with the final score reaching 5 in the subsequent weeks.
