Abstract

Pendidikan merupakan salah satu hak setiap Warga Negara Indonesia yang dijamin oleh negara untuk memperolehnya. Dalam memperoleh layanan fasilitas pendidikan, masyarakat dapat mengikuti kegiatan Sistem Penerimaan Murid Baru (SPMB). Salah satu jalur SPMB adalah jalur domisili. Di luar hal tersebut, pergerakan sekolah berkontribusi dalam pergerakan kota. Hal ini tidak hanya terjadi di luar negeri, tetapi juga di dalam negeri. Di sisi lain, SMA merupakan jenjang pendidikan yang dapat meningkatkan mobilitas siswa karena faktor radius pencapaian dalam standar penyediaannya yang tergolong besar. Di Kota Surabaya sendiri terjadi peningkatan jumlah penduduk, adanya faktor pembangunan di Kawasan Surabaya Timur meningkatkan peluang bertambahnya jumlah penduduk. Jumlah penduduk yang bertambah dapat memengaruhi peningkatan jumlah SMA. Dari segi transportasi, terdapat peran transportasi publik dalam aksesibilitas siswa ke sekolah. Wilayah Surabaya Timur dalam pembagian wilayah penerimaan murid baru Jalur Domisili termasuk Kawasan Zonasi III Kota Surabaya. Terdapat transportasi publik untuk perjalanan sekolah berupa bus sekolah, tetapi rutenya belum mencangkup seluruh SMAN yang ada di dalam Kawasan Zonasi III Kota Surabaya. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini ditujukan untuk menentukan trayek angkutan sekolah yang optimal dengan memanfaatkan hasil pemetaan pergerakan siswa SMAN di Kawasan Zonasi III Kota Surabaya. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah four-step model, tetapi penerapannya tidak sepenuhnya dan hanya fokus pada trip generation, trip distribution, dan sebagian trip assignment. Dari penelitian ini didapatkan hasil, yaitu terbentuk trayek optimal yang mencangkup 27 zona dan empat (4) SMAN berdasarkan pergerakan siswa yang melayani 4.157 perjalanan.

Education is one of the rights of every Indonesian citizen guaranteed by the state to obtain. In obtaining educational facility services, the community can participate in the New Student Admission System (SPMB) activities. One of the SPMB pathways is the domicile pathway. Beyond this, the movement of schools contributes to the movement of cities. This is not only the case abroad, but also within the country. On the other hand, senior high school is a level of education that can increase student mobility due to the achievement radius factor in its relatively large standard of provision. In Surabaya City itself, there is an increase in population and the existence of development factors in the East Surabaya Area increases the opportunity for an increase in population. The increasing population can lead to an increase in the number of high schools. In terms of transportation, there is a role for public transportation in the accessibility of students to schools. The East Surabaya area in the division of the Domicile Path new student admission area is included in Zoning Area III of Surabaya City. There is public transportation for school trips in the form of school buses, but the routes do not cover all senior high schools in Zoning Area III of Surabaya City. Therefore, this study aimed to determine the optimal school transportation route by utilizing the results of mapping the movement of high school students in Zoning Area III of Surabaya City. The research method used is the four-step model. The research method used is the four-step model, but its application is not complete and only focuses on trip generation, trip distribution, and some trip assignment. From this study, the results obtained, namely the formation of an optimal route that covers 27 zones and four (4) SMAN based on student movements serving 4,157 trips.
