Abstract

Proses rekrutmen tradisional sering kali menghadapi berbagai tantangan terkait inefisiensi, baik dari segi waktu maupun sumber daya yang dikeluarkan oleh perusahaan. Untuk menjawab permasalahan tersebut, penelitian ini merancang dan mengembangkan sebuah prototipe sistem gamifikasi dalam proses rekrutmen dan seleksi sumber daya manusia dengan menggunakan metode Design thinking. Gamifikasi diterapkan sebagai pendekatan inovatif untuk meningkatkan keterlibatan, motivasi, dan pengalaman kandidat secara keseluruhan. Melalui lima tahap Design thinking—Empathize, Define, Ideate, Prototype, dan Test— penelitian ini menghasilkan solusi berbasis kebutuhan pengguna yang memuat elemen-elemen gamifikasi seperti poin, tantangan, dan leaderboard. Prototipe yang dikembangkan bertujuan untuk mempercepat proses seleksi, meningkatkan kualitas penilaian kandidat, serta menciptakan pengalaman rekrutmen yang lebih menarik, efisien, dan transparan. Evaluasi awal terhadap prototipe menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan ini berpotensi meningkatkan efisiensi dan kualitas proses rekrutmen, meskipun masih memerlukan pengujian lanjutan untuk implementasi dalam skala yang lebih luas.

Traditional recruitment processes often encounter significant inefficiencies, both in terms of the time required to screen candidates and the resources expended by organizations. To address these challenges, this study designed and developed a gamified recruitment and selection prototype using the Design thinking methodology. Gamification was incorporated as an innovative strategy to enhance candidate engagement, motivation, and the overall user experience during the recruitment process. By following the five phases of Design thinking—Empathize, Define, Ideate, Prototype, and Test—this research produced a user-centered solution that integrates key gamification elements such as points, challenges, and leaderboards. The resulting prototype aims to streamline the selection process, improve the quality of candidate evaluation, and deliver a recruitment experience that is more engaging, efficient, and transparent. Initial evaluation of the prototype indicates its potential to increase process efficiency and candidate alignment, although further testing and real-world implementation are recommended for broader validation.
