Abstract

Pemanfaatan limbah kulit sapi sebagai material dalam perancangan tas pilates merupakan inovasi yang bertujuan untuk mengurangi dampak negatif industri kulit terhadap lingkungan. Kulit sapi dikenal dengan kekuatan dan daya tahannya, sehingga menjadikannya material yang cocok untuk produk apparel yang membutuhkan tingkat ketahanan tinggi dan penggunaan jangka panjang. Perancangan ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan tas pilates yang tidak hanya menonjolkan nilai estetika, tetapi juga mengutamakan fungsionalitas dan prinsip keberlanjutan. Desain tas dikembangkan dengan mempertimbangkan kenyamanan, daya tahan, dan kebutuhan pengguna yang menjalani gaya hidup aktif. Proses desain melibatkan analisis terhadap karakteristik kulit sapi, kebutuhan pengguna pilates, serta pendekatan ergonomis yang mendukung aktivitas olahraga. Dengan memanfaatkan limbah kulit sapi, perancangan ini dapat menciptakan produk yang tidak hanya berkelanjutan tetapi juga memberikan solusi praktis bagi pengguna yang mencari tas olahraga pilates berkualitas tinggi dan ramah lingkungan.
