Abstract
Aplikasi news aggregator berbasis citizen journalism merupakan platform yang dibutuhkan dalam era informasi saat ini. Citizen journalism memberikan kemampuan kepada masyarakat untuk menjadi pengumpul, pelapor, dan penyebar berita secara aktif. Namun, hal ini juga membawa tantangan baru terkait validitas dan kredibilitas informasi. Oleh karena itu, aplikasi news aggregator hadir sebagai solusi untuk menyajikan informasi yang dapat dipercaya kepada pengguna. Tugas akhir ini merancang aplikasi news aggregator menggunakan metodologi waterfall dan arsitektur monolitik. Aplikasi ini akan memiliki komponen-komponen seperti pengunggahan berita, pengumpulan berita, verifikasi berita, review - rating berita, dan level of truth. Aplikasi ini akan menggunakan bahasa HTML, CSS, dan Javascript, Google Apps Script untuk pengembangan, dan Google Gemini untuk generasi berita. Dengan adanya aplikasi ini, diharapkan masyarakat dapat menghasilkan dan mengakses berita yang diverifikasi dengan mudah dan dapat mempercayai kebenarannya, sehingga meningkatkan literasi informasi dan kesadaran masyarakat dalam mengonsumsi berita.

The citizen journalism-based news aggregator application is a platform needed in today's information age. Citizen journalism empowers individuals to actively collect, report, and disseminate news. However, this also brings new challenges regarding the validity and credibility of information. Therefore, news aggregator applications are designed to present information that can be trusted to users. This thesis designs a news aggregator application using the waterfall methodology and monolithic architecture. The application will have components like news uploading, news aggregation, news verification, news review – rating, and level of truth. The application will use HTML, CSS, and Javascript, Google Apps Script for development, and Google Gemini for news generation. With this application, it is hoped that the public can easily produce and access verified news and trust its accuracy, thus enhancing information literacy and public awareness in consuming news.
