Abstract

Tuban Regency is an area that hosts several geothermal manifestations in the form of hot springs, one of which is located in Wukirharjo Village. These manifestations occur due to the presence of fractures (faults) that serve as pathways for hot fluids to rise to the surface. To identify fault lines and geothermal sources in Wukirharjo Village, the magnetic method was employed. The magnetic data were corrected and processed using Upward Continuation, Bandpass, and Butterworth filters to obtain both local and regional magnetic anomalies. Subsequently, qualitative interpretation was carried out using the Reduction to the Pole method, horizontal and vertical gradients, as well as signal analysis. The results indicate that the distribution of geothermal sources is associated with a suspected fault structure extending from south to north. Meanwhile, quantitative interpretation was conducted to estimate the model parameters of the anomaly (such as depth and geometric factors) through an inversion process using the Gazelle Optimization Algorithm. The inversion results suggest that the anomaly is a thin dyke located at a depth ranging from 9.86 m to 15.91 m.
