Abstract
Industri pupuk menghasilkan limbah cair dengan karakteristik sangat bervariasi, yang berpotensi mencemari lingkungan jika tidak diolah secara tepat. PT XYZ telah membangun sistem Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) untuk mengelola limbah cair tersebut, namun ditemukan permasalahan pada unit ekualisasi. Proses netralisasi pH yang dilakukan langsung di kolam ekualisasi yang menyebabkan pembentukan endapan dalam jumlah besar dan peningkatan Total Suspended Solid (TSS) dalam sistem.

The fertilizer industry produces liquid waste with highly variable characteristics, which has the potential to pollute the environment if not treated properly. PT XYZ has built a Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) system to manage this liquid waste, but problems have been found in the equalization unit. The pH neutralization process carried out directly in the equalization pond causes the formation of large amounts of sediment and an increase in Total Suspended Solids (TSS) in the system.
