Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan sistem pemanenan energi angin menggunakan mekanisme piezoelectric yang digerakkan oleh turbin angin sebagai sumber energi untuk sensor suhu. Dengan memanfaatkan efek piezoelectric, energi mekanik dari putaran turbin angin dikonversi menjadi energi listrik melalui mekanisme Scotch Yoke. Penelitian ini fokus pada pengaruh jumlah dan bentuk bilah turbin, panjang pemukul, serta kecepatan angin terhadap output listrik yang dihasilkan. Metode penelitian meliputi perancangan model turbin angin NACA 4412, pembuatan mekanisme Scotch Yoke, dan pengujian menggunakan alat ukur seperti Volt Sensor, Arduino Uno R3 dan Sensor Suhu. Hasil penelitian diharapkan dapat memberikan wawasan mengenai efisiensi konversi energi mekanik menjadi listrik melalui material piezoelectric PZT, serta kontribusinya dalam mendukung sistem sensor mandiri berbasis Internet of Things (IoT). Penelitian ini juga diharapkan dapat menjadi referensi bagi pengembangan teknologi energi terbarukan yang lebih efisien dan berkelanjutan.

This research aims to develop a wind energy harvesting system using a piezoelectric mechanism driven by a wind turbine as an energy source for temperature sensors. By utilizing the piezoelectric effect, the mechanical energy from the wind turbine rotation is converted into electrical energy through the Scotch Yoke mechanism. This study focuses on the influence of the number and shape of turbine blades, the length of the beater, and the wind speed on the electricity output produced. The research methods include the design of the NACA 4412 wind turbine model, the manufacture of the Scotch Yoke mechanism, and testing using measuring instruments such as Volt Sensor, Arduino Uno R3 and Temperature Sensor. The results of the study are expected to provide insight into the efficiency of converting mechanical energy into electricity through the piezoelectric PZT material, as well as its contribution in supporting Internet of Things (IoT)-based self-sensor systems. This research is also expected to be a reference for the development of more efficient and sustainable renewable energy technology.
