Abstract

The music concert ticketing industry faces significant challenges including ticket counterfeiting, double booking conflicts, and lack of transparency in secondary markets. This researchdevelops Mintix, a comprehensive Web3.0 platform that implements NFT minting for music concert tickets on the Solana blockchain with real-time seat locking mechanisms to prevent booking conflicts. The system integrates smart contracts optimized for the Solana network, a dualperspective marketplace interface, and real-time WebSocket communication for concurrent usermanagement. The methodology includes developing smart contracts using the Anchor framework with Rust programming, implementing a React.js frontend with Solana Wallet Adapterintegration, and deploying a Node.js backend with MongoDB on Railway platform. The systemunderwent comprehensive testing with 20 concurrent users simulation, achieving 100% successrate in preventing double bookings with zero conflicts detected. Performance metrics demonstrate an average response time of 38.18 milliseconds, processing capacity of 87.7 requests persecond, and 99.94% transaction success rate on the Solana blockchain. Gas fee optimizationresulted in an 8x cost reduction from 0.00008 SOL to 0.00001 SOL per transaction, with batchoperations achieving up to 16x cost savings. The platform successfully integrates Phantom Wallet authentication, real-time seat management with WebSocket technology, and comprehensiveadmin controls for concert approval workflows. Security testing validated the system againstcommon vulnerabilities with 100% authentication success rate and robust protection against injection attacks and cross-site scripting. The research contributes a production-ready blockchainticketing solution that eliminates ticket fraud through cryptographic verification, enables transparent secondary market transactions, and provides a scalable framework for NFT-based eventmanagement in the entertainment industry.
