Abstract
Literasi keuangan adalah keterampilan penting untuk mengelola keuangan secara bijak, namun tingkat literasi finansial di Indonesia masih rendah dibandingkan rata-rata global. Gen Z, sebagai generasi yang sedang membangun fondasi finansial, menghadapi tantangan besar akibat kesenjangan antara literasi dan perilaku keuangan mereka, seperti tingginya penggunaan fintech untuk kebutuhan konsumtif dan rendahnya kebiasaan menabung. Hal ini menunjukkan perlunya media edukasi untuk memenuhi kebutuhan tersebut pada segmen ini.
Perancangan ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan studi literatur, studi komparator, studi desain terdahulu, studi target audiens, analisis isi buku, tahapan eksperimental, wawancara ahli, dan depth interview dengan ahli. Setelah luaran desain selesai, hasil desain dari buku visual interaktif akan di user testing pada target audiens perancangan ini, Gen Z yang sedang transisi ke dunia kerja.
Luaran dari perancangan ini berupa buku visual interaktif diharapkan mampu meningkatkan literasi finansial Gen Z dan menjembatani kesenjangan antara pengetahuan dan perilaku keuangan mereka, sekaligus menjadi media pelengkap bagi Bank Jago dalam melakukan kampanye literasi keuangannya.

Financial literacy is a crucial skill for managing finances wisely. However, in Indonesia, the financial literacy rate is still low compared to the global average. Generation Z, as a generation building their financial foundation, faces significant challenges due to the gap between their financial literacy and behavior, such as high use of fintech for consumptive needs and low saving habits. This highlights the need for relevant and engaging educational media for this segment.
This design project employs a qualitative approach, including literature studies, comparative studies, previous design studies, target audience studies, content analysis, experimental studies, expert interviews, and in-depth interviews with experts. After the design outputs are completed, the results of the interactive visual book design will undergo user testing with the target audience of this project: Generation Z who are transitioning into the workforce.
The output of this project is in the form of an interactive visual book is expected to enhance Generation Z's financial literacy and bridge the gap between their financial knowledge and behavior. Additionally, it aims to serve as a supplementary media for Bank Jago in conducting its financial literacy campaigns.
