Abstract
Tas merupakan alat praktis untuk menyimpan barang pribadi sekaligus simbol identitas, status sosial, dan profesionalisme, terutama di kalangan wanita karir generasi milenial akhir dan Gen Z awal yang mendominasi angkatan kerja Indonesia. Tas multifungsi diperlukan untuk menjawab kebutuhan mobilitas tinggi serta aktivitas beragam, seperti bekerja di kantor dan menghadiri acara sosial. Dalam era digital, tas juga menjadi bagian penting personal branding. Penelitian ini bertujuan merancang tas wanita multifungsi yang dapat digunakan untuk aktivitas kantor dan acara pesta, sesuai kebutuhan generasi milenial akhir dan Gen Z awal. Tas ini mengintegrasikan fleksibilitas, estetika, dan keberlanjutan, menjawab perbedaan preferensi generasi milenial yang fokus pada durabilitas dan investasi jangka panjang dengan Gen Z yang lebih memperhatikan keberlanjutan dan fitur modern. Metode penelitian meliputi studi literatur, analisis pengguna, ideasi, pengembangan desain, hingga pengujian produk. Desain konvertibel diterapkan untuk menciptakan produk yang adaptif terhadap berbagai situasi dan kebutuhan. Hasil akhir diharapkan berupa tas dengan estetika dan fungsionalitas tinggi, mendukung keberlanjutan, serta memenuhi kebutuhan profesional dan sosial generasi target.

A bag is a practical tool for storing personal belongings and serves as a symbol of identity, social status, and professionalism, especially among late-millennial and early Gen Z career women who dominate Indonesia's workforce. A multifunctional bag is needed to meet the demands of high mobility and diverse activities, such as working in an office and attending social events. In the digital era, bags have also become a crucial element of personal branding. This study aims to design a multifunctional women's bag suitable for office activities and social events, tailored to the needs of late millennials and early Gen Z. The bag integrates flexibility, aesthetics, and sustainability, addressing the differing preferences of millennials, who prioritize durability and long-term investment, and Gen Z, who focus more on sustainability and modern features. The research methods include literature review, user analysis, ideation, design development, and product testing. A convertible design approach is applied to create a product adaptable to various situations and needs. The final result is expected to be a bag with high aesthetic and functional value, supporting sustainability while meeting the professional and social needs of the target generation.
