Abstract

Industri pelayaran global saat ini dihadapkan pada tekanan yang semakin besar untuk mengurangi emisi GRK dan penggunaan bahan bakar fosil yang tinggi. Salah satu pilihan yang mulai menarik perhatian banyak pihak adalah penggunaan Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) sebagai alternatif yang lebih ramah lingkungan dibandingkan dengan solar atau minyak berat (HFO). Green Port adalah sebuah konsep manajemen pelabuhan yang menekankan pentingnya efisiensi energi, pengurangan emisi karbon, serta pengelolaan limbah yang bertanggung jawab, tanpa mengabaikan aspek produktivitas dan layanan logistik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengendalikan emisi gas rumah kaca serta efisiensi biaya operasional dari penerapan bahan bakar cng pada kapal. Metode yang diterapkan dalam penelitian ini adalah perhitungan estimasi emisi gas rumah kaca berdasarkan metode inventaris gas rumah kaca sektor energi dari Direktorat Jenderal Ketenagalistrikan Kementrian ESDM 2018. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat penurunan emisi CO2 sebesar 9.865 Ton/hari, penurunan emisi CH4 sebesar 0,407 Ton/hari, penurunan emisi N2O sebesar 0,084 Ton/hari. Dari sektor ekonomi, penerapan bahan bakar CNG pada kapal berhasil menurunkan biaya operasional harian dari Rp52.945.385.732 menjadi Rp 11.130.271.390

The global shipping industry is currently faced with increasing pressure to reduce GHG emissions and high fossil fuel usage. One option that is starting to attract the attention of many parties is the use of Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) as a more environmentally friendly alternative to diesel or heavy oil (HFO). Green Port is a port management concept that emphasizes the importance of energy efficiency, carbon emission reduction, and responsible waste management, without neglecting aspects of productivity and logistics services. This research aims to control greenhouse gas emissions and operational cost efficiency from the application of cng fuel on ships. The method applied in this study is the calculation of estimated greenhouse gas emissions based on the energy sector greenhouse gas inventory method from the Directorate General of Electricity, Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources 2018. The results showed that there was a decrease in CO2 emissions by 9,865 tons/day, a decrease in CH4 emissions by 0.407 tons/day, a decrease in N2O emissions by 0.084 tons/day. From the economic sector, the application of CNG fuel on ships succeeded in reducing daily operating costs from Rp52,945,385,732 to Rp 11,130,271,390
