Abstract
Penelitian ini menganalisis beban kerja dan kebutuhan tenaga kerja pada bagian Warehouse PT Tresno Jamu Indonesia. Metode NASA Task Load Index (NASA-TLX) digunakan untuk menilai beban kerja mental berdasarkan enam dimensi. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar karyawan, terutama pada posisi Admin, Checker, dan Helper, mengalami beban kerja tinggi. Faktor utama penyebabnya adalah aspek Performance (30%) dan Effort (28%).
Sebagai pelengkap, metode Full-Time Equivalent (FTE) digunakan untuk mengukur kecukupan jumlah tenaga kerja. Posisi Supervisor, Foreman, dan Leader dinilai sudah mencukupi. Sementara itu, posisi Admin dan Checker masing-masing memerlukan tambahan satu orang. Posisi Helper menunjukkan kekurangan signifikan, dengan kebutuhan 12,36 FTE tetapi hanya didukung oleh 8 karyawan, sehingga perlu tambahan 5 orang.
Studi ini merekomendasikan penambahan tenaga kerja pada posisi kritis, perbaikan distribusi tugas, peninjauan ulang deskripsi pekerjaan, pengelolaan target kerja, serta peningkatan komunikasi. Integrasi metode NASA-TLX dan FTE memberikan landasan komprehensif dalam perencanaan kebutuhan tenaga kerja di industri manufaktur jamu.

This study analyzes the workload and manpower requirements in the Warehouse section of PT Tresno Jamu Indonesia. The NASA Task Load Index (NASA-TLX) method was used to assess mental workload across six dimensions. Results show that most employees, especially those in Admin, Checker, and Helper positions, experienced high levels of workload. The main contributing factors were Performance (30%) and Effort (28%)
To complement the analysis, the Full-Time Equivalent (FTE) method was applied to assess workforce adequacy. The Supervisor, Foreman, and Leader positions were considered adequately staffed. However, the Admin and Checker roles each require one additional worker. The Helper position showed a significant shortage, with a requirement of 12.36 FTE but only 8 workers available, indicating a need for 5 more personnel.
This study recommends increasing staffing in critical roles, revisiting job descriptions, improving task distribution and workload targets, and enhancing communication. Integrating NASA-TLX and FTE provides a comprehensive foundation for workforce planning in the herbal manufacturing industry.
