Abstract

Penelitian ini menawarkan kebaruan berupa integrasi Lean dan Agile Manufacturing dalam konteks proses produksi printing tekstil konvensional yang kompleks, berbeda dari studi sebelumnya yang hanya menyoroti salah satu pendekatan dan tidak secara spesifik pada industri printing tekstil. Fokus pada proses ini memberikan kontribusi baru karena karakteristiknya yang khas dibanding industri lain. Permasalahan utama yang dihadapi adalah tingginya waktu setup dan rendahnya fleksibilitas mesin akibat sistem produksi konvensional yang kurang adaptif terhadap dinamika permintaan pasar, terutama tren fast fashion. Untuk mengatasi hal tersebut, penelitian ini mengimplementasikan metode Single Minute Exchange of Dies (SMED) guna mempercepat proses setup, serta mengadopsi pendekatan Agile Manufacturing yang mencakup tiga kerangka utama: Agility Drivers sebagai pemicu perubahan, Agility Capabilities sebagai kompetensi inti, dan Agility Providers sebagai pendukung pencapaian kapabilitas. Melalui pendekatan konstruktif dan uji coba langsung di lini produksi, penelitian ini menunjukkan hasil signifikan, di mana waktu setup berhasil dikurangi dari 62,26 menit menjadi 31,13 menit (efisiensi 49,98%), peningkatan Availability Ratio, dan Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) naik dari 24,60% menjadi 58,11%, menandakan sistem produksi menjadi lebih efisien, responsif, dan adaptif terhadap variasi produk serta volume pesanan kecil-menengah yang dinamis.

This study presents a novelty in integrating Lean and agile Manufacturing approaches within the complex context of conventional textile printing processes, distinguishing it from previous studies that focused solely on either approach and did not specifically target the textile printing industry. The focus on this specific process provides new contributions due to its distinct characteristics compared to other industries. The primary issue identified is the high setup time and low machine effectiveness resulting from a conventional production system that lacks adaptability to market demand dynamics, particularly in responding to fast fashion trends. To address this issue, the study implements the Single Minute Exchange of Dies (SMED) method to reduce setup time and adopts the Agile Manufacturing approach through three key frameworks: Agility Drivers as change enablers, Agility Capabilities as core competencies, and Agility Providers as supporting capabilities to be achieved. Using a constructive research approach and direct trials on the production line, the study demonstrates significant outcomes: setup time was reduced from 62.26 minutes to 31.13 minutes (49,98% efficiency improvement), the Availability Ratio increased, and the Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) rose from 24.60% to 58.11%, indicating that the production system has become more efficient, responsive, and adaptive to product variations and small-to-medium dynamic order volumes.
