Abstract

PT. XYZ adalah salah satu perusahaan pengolahan semen di pulau Jawa dengan empat line produksi. Dalam menjaga kelancaran produksi diperlukan pengelolaan suku cadang pemeliharaan. Saat ini perusahaan mengalami kendala dalam pengelolaan persediaan suku cadang. Nilai indeks inventory level sebesar USD 4,1/ ton clinker, dari target yang ditetapkan sebesar USD 2/ton clinker. Nilai dead stock suku cadang sebesar Rp 117 milyar dengan masa simpan diatas 5 tahun, didominasi oleh suku cadang non rutin. Tingginya nilai persediaan, serta nilai material yang masuk kategori slow moving masih cukup besar maka diperlukan strategi yang tepat dalam pengendalian dan pengontrolan persediaan suku cadang agar bisa efektif dan efisien. Dengan mempertimbangkan Kebijakan manajemen untuk menurunkan level inventory perlu disikapi dengan menentukan inventory policy yang tepat, saat ini pengendalian persediaan metode min-max. Untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut, pengendalian persediaan dengan melakukan perhitungan ADI-CV, ABC Analysis, Monte Carlo, Periodic Review (R,s,S), dan mempertimbangkan aspek Reliablity. Performansi yang dianalisa adalah service level dan nilai rata-rata inventory. Hasil perbandingan awal perusahaan dengan berbagai metode yang digunakan, didapatkan metode reliability yang paling optimal terdapat kenaikan service level sebesar 3,89% dan nilai inventory ada penurunan 28,89%.

PT. XYZ is one of the cement processing companies in Java with four production lines. In maintaining smooth production, maintenance spare part management is required. Currently, the company is experiencing constraints in managing spare part inventory. The inventory level index value is USD 4.1/ton clinker, from the target set at USD 2/ton clinker. The value of dead stock of spare parts is IDR 117 billion with a shelf life of more than 5 years, dominated by non-routine spare parts. The high value of inventory, as well as the value of materials that are categorized as slow-moving, is still quite large, so an appropriate strategy is needed in controlling spare part inventory so that it can be effective and efficient. By considering the management policy to reduce the inventory level, it is necessary to determine the appropriate inventory policy; currently the inventory control method is min-max. To overcome this problem, inventory control is done by calculating ADI-CV2, ABC Analysis, Monte Carlo, Periodic Review (R, s, S), and considering the reliability aspect. The performance analyzed is the service level and the average inventory value. The results of the company's initial comparison with various methods used obtained the most optimal reliability method; there was an increase in service level of 3.89% and a decrease in inventory value of 28.89%.
