Abstract

Magang merupakan salah satu program pendidikan yang wajib diikuti oleh mahasiswa tingkat akhir guna mempersiapkan mereka memasuki dunia kerja. Melalui program ini, mahasiswa
dapat mempelajari berbagai aspek dunia kerja, seperti budaya kerja, standar kerja, hingga keterampilan yang dibutuhkan. Selain itu, program magang juga memberikan kesempatan bagi
mahasiswa untuk mengaplikasikan ilmu dan keterampilan yang telah dipelajari selama perkuliahan di Departemen Statistika Bisnis, Fakultas Vokasi, Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember Surabaya. Melalui kegiatan magang di PT. XYZ, mahasiswa diharapkan dapat memahami proses kerja di berbagai divisi perusahaan, mengasah soft skill, serta meningkatkan kemampuan praktis secara profesional dalam menyelesaikan masalah langsung dengan menerapkan ilmu statistika. Program
ini bertujuan agar mahasiswa memperoleh wawasan mengenai dunia kerja, menambah pengalaman, dan mempersiapkan diri untuk menghadapi tantangan di dunia profesional.

Internship is one of the educational programs that must be undertaken by final-year students to prepare them for entering the workforce. Through this program, students can learn various aspects of the professional world, such as work culture, work standards, and the necessary skills. In addition, the internship program provides students with the opportunity to apply the knowledge and skills they have acquired during their studies in the Department of Business Statistics, Vocational Faculty, Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember Surabaya. Through the internship at PT. XYZ, students are expected to gain an understanding of work processes across various company divisions, enhance their soft skills, and improve their practical abilities in a professional setting by solving real-world problems using statistical knowledge. This program aims to provide students with insights into the professional world, increase their experience, and better prepare them to face challenges in their future careers.
