Abstract

Desa wisata merupakan desa yang memiliki potensi lokal untuk mendatangkan wisatawan sehingga meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat. Desa Simbatan menjadi salah satu desa yang mendapatkan penghargaan 300 besar ADWI pada tahun 2021 yang memiliki daya tarik wisata budaya yang kuat, dengan peninggalan Mataram Kuno dan Majapahit berupa Petirtaan Dewi Sri, tradisi pengurasan petirtaan, dan festival budaya tahunan. Namun, beberapa kendala menghambat kemajuan, seperti Pokdarwis yang belum optimal, sarana dan prasarana yang terbatas, aksesibilitas yang kurang memadai, hingga ancaman kepunahan festival Dewi Sri. Hal ini berakibat pada penurunan prestasi dalam Desa Wisata Simbatan tidak masuk ke dalam penghargaan ADWI pada tahun 2022, 2023 dan 2024. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merumuskan arahan pengembangan Desa Wisata Simbatan berdasarkan kaetgori desa wisata berkembang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode analisis campuran (mixed-method) dengan menggunakan content analysis dan SWOT IFAS-EFAS . Content analysis digunakan untuk menganalisis sasaran 1 potensi dan masalah yang dihadapi Desa Wisata Simbatan dan sasaran 2 faktor eksternal yang mendukung serta menghambat pengembangan desa wisata. Adapun SWOT IFAS-EFAS digunakan untuk memperoleh sasaran 3 arahan pengembangan Desa Wisata Simbatan Kecamatan Nguntoronadi Kabupaten Magetan. Data penelitian ini diperoleh melalui data primer hasil observasi dan indepth interview dan data sekunder dari jurnal dan sumber terpercaya. Adapun informan indepth interview merupakan pihak yang memiliki peran dalam pengembangan Desa Wisata Simbatan.

A tourism village is a village that possesses local potential to attract tourists and improve community welfare. Simbatan Village is one of the villages that was selected among the Top 300 of the Indonesian Tourism Village Award (ADWI) in 2021, recognized for its strong cultural tourism appeal, with historical heritage from the Ancient Mataram and Majapahit eras, such as the Dewi Sri Spring, the spring cleansing tradition, and the annual cultural festival.However, several obstacles hinder its development, such as the suboptimal performance of the Tourism Awareness Group (Pokdarwis), limited facilities and infrastructure, inadequate accessibility, and the threat of extinction of the Dewi Sri Festival. As a result, Simbatan Tourism Village did not achieve recognition in the ADWI Awards in 2022, 2023, and 2024. This study aims to formulate development directions for Simbatan Tourism Village based on the category of developing tourism village. This research employs a mixed-method approach using content analysis and SWOT analysis (IFAS-EFAS). Content analysis is applied to analyze the first objective the potentials and problems faced by Simbatan Tourism Village and the second objective the external factors that support or hinder the village's tourism development. Meanwhile, SWOT analysis using IFAS-EFAS is utilized to formulate the third objective, namely the development directions for Simbatan Tourism Village, Nguntoronadi Sub-district, Magetan Regency. The research data were obtained from primary data through observations and in-depth interviews, as well as secondary data from journals and reliable sources. The in-depth interview informants were parties involved in the development of Simbatan Tourism Village. This study identified 12 strength factors, 8 weakness factors, 6 opportunities, and 5 threats which comprise the SWOT factors. These factors were then formulated into 9 development directions for Simbatan Tourism Village, Nguntoronadi Sub-district, Magetan Regency.
