Abstract

Setiap proyek mempunyai tantangan dan keunikan masing-masing, dan arsitek bertugas untuk menciptakan solusi atas tantangan tersebut. Laporan ini mencakup dua jenis proyek arsitektur yang sangat berbeda satu sama lain, yaitu Perancangan Rumah dan Home Cafe di Kota Semarang, serta Perancangan Klinik Al-Manar di Universitas Muhammadiyah Ponorogo. Perancangan rumah tinggal dan kafe difokuskan untuk mewadahi aktivitas dan preferensi klien secara optimal sambil menyesuaikan dengan kondisi tapak dan karakter pengguna, dengan mengangkat konsep utama yaitu tropical-industrial. Sedangkan untuk perancangan klinik difokuskan untuk pemenuhan kebutuhan, standar, dan regulasi pada tapak, agar dapat memastikan fungsi pelayanan kesehatan pada universitas tersebut berjalan dengan baik dan sesuai dengan ketentuan. Pendekatan desain kedua proyek bersifat solutif, dan mengedepankan efisiensi tata ruang. Selain itu, proses perancangan yang berlangsung diusahakan untuk menerapkan 13 kompetensi Ikatan Arsitek Indonesia (IAI), seperti pemahaman konteks, etika profesi, dan implementasi regulasi, yang menjadi bagian dari tanggung jawab keprofesian.

Each project has its own set of problems, and architect is designed to create solutions to these challenges. This report covers two very different types of architectural projects, namely the Design of a House and Home Cafe in Semarang, and the Design of Al-Manar Clinic at Muhammadiyah University of Ponorogo. The design of the residence and cafe is dedicated to optimally accommodating client's activities and preferences while adapting to the site conditions and user characteristics by raising the main concept of tropical industry. Meanwhile, to create a well-designed clinic is need to pay attention to meet the needs, standards, and regulations on the site, to ensure the health facilities at the university runs well and in accordance with the provisions. The design approach of both projects is solution-oriented and prioritizes efficiency of the spatial layout. In addition, the ongoing design process is attempted to implementing 13 competencies of the Indonesian Architects Association (IAI), such as understanding the context, professional ethics, and application of regulations, which are part of professional responsibilities.
