Abstract

Laporan ini membahas pengalaman magang industri yang dilaksanakan oleh mahasiswa Program Studi Sarjana Terapan Teknologi Rekayasa Konversi Energi di PT Adi Raya Construction pada periode Januari hingga Mei 2024. Kegiatan magang difokuskan pada proyek Pembuatan Test Package Planning Project Area Hydrogenation-Inside Battery Limit (HYD-ISBL). Proyek ini merupakan bagian dari proses konstruksi sistem perpipaan pada fasilitas hidrogenasi yang membutuhkan ketelitian teknis tinggi, penguasaan dokumen teknik seperti Piping and Instrumentation Diagram (P&ID), Isometric Drawing, Line List, serta pengujian non-destruktif (NDT) seperti Penetrant Test dan Radiographic Test. Mahasiswa dilibatkan langsung dalam pembuatan dan verifikasi Test Package, yang merupakan kumpulan dokumen untuk memastikan kesiapan sistem sebelum proses hydrotest atau commissioning. Magang ini juga memberikan pemahaman mendalam tentang integrasi teori perkuliahan dalam praktik lapangan, seperti penerapan gambar teknik, K3, manajemen proyek, dan sistem perpipaan. Hasil dari kegiatan ini menunjukkan bahwa 27,58% mata kuliah yang telah ditempuh dapat diimplementasikan dalam pekerjaan proyek HYD-ISBL. Pengalaman ini tidak hanya memperluas wawasan teknis, tetapi juga meningkatkan kemampuan soft skill dan kesiapan kerja mahasiswa di bidang teknik industri konstruksi energi.

This report presents the results of an industrial internship carried out by a student of the Applied Bachelor Program in Energy Conversion Engineering Technology at PT Adi Raya Construction from January to May 2024. The internship focused on the Preparation of Test Package Planning for the Hydrogenation-Inside Battery Limit (HYD-ISBL) Project Area. This project is part of the piping system construction within a hydrogenation facility, which requires high technical accuracy and a thorough understanding of technical documentation such as Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID), Isometric Drawings, Line Lists, and non-destructive testing (NDT) methods including Penetrant Test and Radiographic Test. The intern was directly involved in the preparation and field verification of the Test Package, a set of documents used to ensure system readiness before hydrotesting or commissioning stages. This internship provided valuable insights into how academic theories—such as technical drawing, occupational health and safety, project management, and piping systems—are applied in real-world projects. The outcome revealed that 27.58% of the academic courses taken were directly applicable to the HYD-ISBL project tasks. Overall, this internship significantly enhanced both technical knowledge and soft skills, better preparing the student for future work in industrial energy engineering.
