Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan menguji sistem kontrol pada lingkungan kandang ayam petelur berbasis fuzzy logic dan internet of things (IoT). Sistem memanfaatkan sensor DHT22 untuk membaca suhu dan kelembapan, serta sensor MQ-135 untuk mendeteksi kadar gas amonia NH3. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa sensor DHT22 memiliki performa tinggi dengan rata-rata error pembacaan suhu sebesar 0,06% dan kelembapan sebesar 2,41%. Sementara itu, sensor MQ-135 menunjukkan error sebesar 0,73% berdasarkan perbandingan rasio antara udara luar dan udara ruangan ber-AC. Sistem kontrol fuzzy logic menunjukkan kinerja yang bervariasi tergantung waktu dan kondisi lingkungan. Hasil terbaik diperoleh pada suhu dini hari dengan nilai error steady state 0,16%, sedangkan kelembapan terbaik terjadi pada siang hari dengan error steady state 4%. Namun, kontrol suhu pada siang hari menunjukkan performansi terburuk dengan error steady state mencapai 19,11%. Untuk mengatasi keterbatasan ini, diterapkan pendekatan adaptive setpoint yang disesuaikan dengan waktu. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa metode ini mampu menurunkan eror dan meningkatkan kestabilan sistem. Selain itu, performansi pengiriman data melalui platform ThingSpeak menunjukkan kualitas layanan yang baik, dengan throughput 190 kbps, packet loss 0%, delay 125,21 ms, dan jitter 113,57 ms.

This study aims to design and evaluate an environmental control system for laying hen houses using fuzzy logic and the Internet of Things (IoT). The system employs the DHT22 sensor to measure temperature and humidity, and the MQ-135 sensor to detect ammonia NH3 levels. Sensor evaluation showed that the DHT22 sensor performed well, with an average temperature reading error of 0.06% and humidity reading error of 2.41%. Meanwhile, the MQ-135 sensor showed an error of 0.73% based on the ratio between outdoor air and air in an air-conditioned room. The fuzzy logic control system demonstrates varying performance depending on time and environmental conditions. The best results were achieved during early morning temperature control with a steady-state error of 0.16%, while humidity control performed best at noon with a steady-state error of 4%. However, temperature control during midday showed the poorest performance with a steady-state error reaching 19.11%. To address this limitation, a time-based adaptive setpoint approach was implemented. The results showed that this method reduced error and improved system stability. Furthermore, data transmission performance via the ThingSpeak platform demonstrated good quality of service, with a throughput of 190 kbps, 0% packet loss, 125.21 ms delay, and 113.57 ms jitter
