Abstract
Deteksi tingkat kematangan buah secara objektif menjadi tantangan penting dalam industri pertanian dan distribusi pangan. Penelitian ini merancang dan membangun sistem spectral analysis berbasis sensor Near-Infrared (NIR) AS7263 untuk mendeteksi kematangan buah secara non-destruktif melalui pengamatan spektrum pantulan dari permukaan buah. Sistem ini terdiri dari sensor spektral AS7263, mikrokontroler STM32 blakcpill, dan antarmuka visual berupa LCD display I2C. Sensor AS7263 mengukur intensitas pantulan cahaya pada enam panjang gelombang NIR (610–860 nm), kemudian diolah untuk mengklasifikasikan tingkat kematangan buah alpukat, jeruk, dan kiwi. Proses deteksi dilakukan di dalam chamber tertutup untuk meminimalkan gangguan cahaya eksternal, memastikan konsistensi hasil. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa perubahan nilai reflektansi pada panjang gelombang tertentu dapat digunakan sebagai indikator tingkat kematangan. Sistem ini mampu memberikan hasil klasifikasi kematangan yang konsisten, akurat, dan dapat diterapkan secara portabel di lapangan. Inovasi ini berpotensi meningkatkan efisiensi pemanenan dan kualitas distribusi buah secara signifikan.

Objective detection of fruit ripeness is a crucial challenge in the agriculture and food distribution industries. This study designs and develops a spectral analysis system using the Near-Infrared (NIR) sensor AS7263 to detect fruit ripeness non-destructively by analyzing the spectral reflectance from the fruit surface. The system consists of the AS7263 spectral sensor, STM32 microcontroller, and a visual interface via an LCD display I2C. The AS7263 sensor measures light reflectance at six NIR wavelengths (610–860 nm), which are then processed to classify the ripeness level of avocados, oranges, and kiwis. The detection process is conducted inside a closed chamber to minimize external light interference, ensuring consistent measurements. Test results show that changes in reflectance values at specific wavelengths can serve as reliable indicators of ripeness. This system demonstrates consistent and accurate classification performance and is designed to be portable for field use. The innovation offers significant potential to improve harvest efficiency and fruit quality monitoring in real-time.
