Abstract
PT Petrokimia Gresik menghadapi tantangan dalam proses produksi pupuk, khususnya pada proses pengantongan (bagging) di mana sering terjadi ketidaksesuaian berat produk dari standar yang telah ditentukan (50 Kg), yaitu berat kurang dari 50 Kg (underweight) dan berat lebih dari 50 Kg (overweight). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengoptimalkan Sistem Two Stage Filling Gate Valve Hopper dengan menerapkan kontrol PID (Proportional, Integral, Derivative) pada Pneumatic Servo Valve untuk meminimalisir kesalahan berat produk. Sistem ini dirancang untuk meminimalkan presentase eror dalam proses pengantongan pupuk. Hasil implementasi menunjukkan bahwa Kontrol PID mampu mengurangi persentase kesalahan pada sistem yang telah dibuat serta mengurangi kebutuhan kalibrasi manual yang berulang. Dengan demikian, penelitian ini sudah memenuhi tujuan penelitian yaitu menciptakan sebuah sistem yang dapat mengurangi terjadinya underweight dan overweight pada saat proses pengantongan (bagging) pupuk dengan presentase eror pada sistem yang mencapai 0.23 %.

PT Petrokimia Gresik faces challenges in the fertilizer production process, especially in the bagging process where there is often a discrepancy in product weight from the predetermined standard (50 Kg), namely less than 50 Kg (underweight) and more than 50 Kg (overweight). This study aims to optimize the Two Stage Filling Gate Valve Hopper System by applying PID (Proportional, Integral, Derivative) control on Pneumatic Servo Valve to minimize product weight errors. This system is designed to minimize the percentage of errors in the fertilizer bagging process. The results of the implementation show that PID Control is able to reduce the percentage of errors in the system that has been created and reduce the need for repetitive manual calibration. Thus, this study has fulfilled the purpose of the research, which is to create a system that can reduce the occurrence of underweight and overweight during the bagging process of fertilizer with an error percentage in the system that reaches 0.23%.
